Bridgecrest app is terrible and so is the company
The app is TERRIBLE!!! Multiple times our payment was applied to the wrong car even though the correct car was selected on the first screen. After further investigation, the app automatically switches it to the car that a payment isn’t due on and there is no way to change it. Sooooo I have to call to make payments now and pay processing fees. Hate the app and this company so much!!! Invest more into the app and make it work or STOP telling people that we can make a payment on the app!

What’s the point?
If car purchased through Carvana, why do I need this? App works fine, easy to use because it doesn’t do a lot. No options to make principle only payments. But the rep on phone will tell you there is. There isn’t. You can make a principle only payment over the phone, for a fee. Or you can make “other payment” on the app and wait for it to post, then call them to let them know you want it applied to principle only. Is what I’ve been told. This is not convenient or helpful. If this is all I needed, why have this app at all when the payment can be made and applied the same way using the Carvana app?

Solid
Never had a single issue with this app. It’s simple and straightforward. My balance is clearly shown and I don’t have to hunt through 30 different menus to get a payoff.
Terrible app
Downloaded the app so I could do biweekly payments and reduce my simple interest over time (they won’t allow you to set up automatic biweekly payments) and the app won’t load or open at all. Initially I thought maybe it was my phone then I tried on my iPad and it did the same thing. Called customer service and they acted like it was the first time this has been brought to their attention even though they have a 2/5 star rating with multiple other people complaining about this app being useless. I would advise that everyone call and complain until they actually take it seriously. It is a call center environment and overloading their phones on a regular basis will get their attention 😉 ask for a supervisor and make sure you ask them to put in a ticket and come back and leave a review when you do so that way there is documented evidence that they know and are doing nothing about it. And honestly I would say if you have time do it everyday until they decide to actually invest some money into fixing this. DO NOT MAKE A PAYMENT OVER THE PHONE TO THEM BECAUSE THEY GET $4.99 every time they process a payment over the phone which they clearly aren’t using to improve the customers experience.

BRIDGECREST this is my/your big mistake
In my experience, this has been the worst auto loan bank I have ever dealt with.
Extremely high interest rates.
Customer service representatives often seem misleading and don’t listen to customers. I had to clearly and firmly decline life insurance five different times before they finally stopped pushing it, even though I never requested it in the first place.
The mobile app rarely works properly. I’ve deleted and reinstalled it multiple times, but I still have the same login and functionality issues.
Whenever I have a question, I have to call customer service, wait for a live representative, listen to a sales pitch or information I never asked for, decline it, and only then can I get answers to my actual questions.

Logs out every time

Heed the warning. There is a reason why they have low stars. I wouldn’t even give them a tenth of a star. It’s a trap so stay away from them plz and ty.
Horribly dishonest
Recently I had my car totaled, through no fault of my own. I was blindsided by someone running a stoplight. Progressive has been trying to get Bridgecrest to accept payment for the small loan I have left and Bridgecrest keeps ghosting them. I have called. Written emails. Pleaded with them to take the payment from Progressive so I can be done with this. This has gone on OVER A MONTH NOW!! I owe another payment in just a few days. I believe this shady company is just waiting to pile up interest on the loan. What a dishonest company. SoFi. Anything else is a better option. I will never get my car loan through this company and highly highly recommend you don’t bother. They will give you the runaround on everything. BEWARE!!!

Limited options
Cannot schedule a payment to replace auto pay will say you have others that will still come out without option to pay early
Made an additional payment month before of 100, showed it as reduced from next payment, went ahead and made a payment for normal amount, it is saying it will be pulling another payment for full amount on the auto pay. This apps a joke will be refinancing asap to not have to bother with these clowns

Principal payments
It would be a nice feature if the app could show how much of the payment went to the principal amount, and finance amount. App still feels really outdated compared to say the CarMax app
App won’t even open
App used to work okay, it would lag quite a bit but it would work. Now the app won’t even open at all when I click on it. Terrible service

Updates
Why does this app need to update every week?! Open the app Monday without issues. Then on Tuesday you have to update the app again. Why?! So frustrating.

The app needs to provide a way for customers to download a statement or history of the account. It’s good for payments only really.

Crashes Too Much
In the beginning I’ve had no issues but then, each time I click the app, it just simple goes black and takes me right back to the screen as if I’d never pushed to app to open.
I’ve uninstalled and installed again but this doesn’t fix the issue.
I have to use my PC to make payments which defeats the entire purpose of having the app.
Not sure if this is the result of bugs or because I’m using iOS.
