What's New in DepthEye

1.0.5

January 15, 2026

View saved point clouds directly in the app (new 3D viewer)

User reviews

Does not work

It says I need to upgrade my phone

App Format File

It doesn’t let you view the video you took. Can’t upload it into ArcGispro to use. Can’t convert it into app format such as obj. Las. Or laz. It’s useless but looks nice.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback, the latest update now lets you open and view point clouds directly in the app. The format is ply, with LiDARConvert you could convert it to other point cloud formats like laz

Incorrect App Store Compatibility Spec

The Compatibility Listing should specify: Only iPhone Models with LiDAR Sensors - 12 Pro and up

Broken unfortunately

Uses geodata but doesn’t even use that correctly. It will just start sending the camera running off in different directions and screw up the map. What they do have is neat though. Would love to see the bugs fixed and update my review.

Perfect

IT IS AWESOME but 4 because I dont know where to open the file
