Out of all apps used, I have not come across a better app to track expenses. Intuitive and genuine well made
Great expense tracking program
I was looking to find a replacement for Chronicle for MacOS with some more visualization features for expenses and bill reminders. I installed and tried a bunch of different apps; but in the end I went with Expenses because of a few factors: I prefer to outright own my software and not pay subscription fees, and I needed something that could track my spend, take into account budgets and also not be too difficult to understand nor too top-heavy to operate. There are too many finance apps that have way too many features that I’ll never use. Expenses is the right price for the right level of functionality. Also, I prefer standalone apps that don’t require linking to your bank account, which could be compromised as it was with Plaid. In any case, this is the right program for those looking for tracking and spend recording with some analysis features built in.
