i have joined felix again as my past experience with their service had been good.
but now i find it terribly slow and weak connections in many locations, including at home and on the hume.
while it may be cost effective, connectivity is important. a cheaper service that doesn’t provide reliable connections is a waste money.
this is strange because i was also a vodafone customer for
some time and was happy with the service so i don’t know why felix service is less reliable.

International throttling is brutal
When you run out of data on your international roaming plan, it throttles you so hard that you can’t even access the felix app to buy more data. You’d think this is a scenario they would have considered.

We'll pass this along! If you don't have access to WiFi, we generally recommend purchasing another roaming add-on before the included data is completely used. That'll help make sure you're staying connected on your travels 🙂
Dark Mode Icon
Felix mobile is great. The app is basically great. Two minor comments though.
When I put the app in a folder, I can see the tiny icon has a dark mode, but for some reason the full size icon doesn't switch to dark mode, even though the dark mode icon is quite nice!
Please fix this. It would be so nice to be able enjoy the app out on the main page and not in a folder.
Also, with FaceID enabled it would be nice to just have a Felix-branded splash page behind it, rather than the login text fields. It makes you think you're going to need to have to use a user/pass for a second before the Face ID kicks in. It's not pretty. A nice splash page would be pretty.
These are small quibbles. That's how great everything is on Felix. All you can possibly have are small quibbles.

Great unlimited data
It’s so nice not having to worry about using data. $40 per month is a really good deal for unlimited data. Even when my scratchy nbn is acting up I can keep scrolling on socials on Felix without a worry about data usage. A lot of others state that customer support is slow which is sort of true but they were very helpful! It’s a really easy process to set up Felix and you probably will never need support at all. With eSIM your set up in 10 minutes.
