Slow as hell
This app is very slow and doesn’t check u in. Have to go use my laptop to check myself in every single time we travel. Wished I didn’t have to bring my laptop everywhere I travel. Their website barely works as well. We spend so much money on our flights. Least they can do is have their apps and website work as needed. Very inconvenient.

The new budget airline?
What an awful booking experience. Been flying Delta almost exclusively for years and this new pay to pick your seat is ridiculous. Oh $500 flight? Want to pick your seat that’s an extra $200 plus tax. LOL Almost a million miles flown on Delta and a reserve card. Might as well fly spirit for this kind of experience.

Have tried everything to but cannot get rid of this error message every time I try to book flights. I am forced to use my browser to book flights. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, deleting cache folder, logout / login, updating phone software, erc, So frustrating.
Passport scanner can’t handle spaces in last name
The passport verification scanner is broken. It adds a K instead of a space if you have a suffix in your last name which means you can’t verify and need to go to the counter at the airport
App is garbage
I have an iPhone X, App states it works on this phone, App states requires iOS 17, iOS 17 is not compatible with iPhone X even though the hardware is compatible with iOS 17.
In flight maps
1 star until you correctly update the inflight map to “Gulf of America” and not “Gulf of America (Gulf of Mexico)”. Stop dead naming the gulf.
DON’T FLY DELTA
I fly every weekend and try to never fly delta, but every once in a while get I stuck with them because of the small hubs. EVERY SINGLE TIME I fly delta they’ve delayed/canceled our flight and almost always take our carry-ons even when there’s still bin space.
Customer service also sucks and their complaint line is a joke that emails apologies with no actions or anything to make things better. Would NOT recommend flying.

Terrible Customer Service
I have been trying to recover my account with Delta for 8 months. Eventually gave up. Spent a cumulative 4 hours and counting on the phone with customer service because their system wouldn’t let me create another one. The customer service agent discovered the problem was because another account was using my phone number that I’ve had since 2003 (23 years) with no lapse is usage rights. The agent set up an account with me and as part of the work around reversed my last and first name with the intent of changing it back. Delta has now denied this name change 4 times after I’ve provided ample legal documentation to them include DL and passport photos.
I’ve never worked so hard to be someone’s customer in my life. The whole thing is absurd. - Also - they’ve repeatedly refused to take my phone number off of someone else’s account. Absolutely absurd and an indictment of their incompetence.

Seat Selection Is Not Working
Seat selection doesn't save in the app - you have to go to the desktop site. Trying to book a ticket under a business profile also doesn't save in the app.
No baggage information?
My upcoming flight doesn’t show any indication about whether or not I already purchased luggage. If I didn’t purchase a checked bag, it should still indicate that. It’s a key piece of information for packing.

The app is great. You can book, see your, flights, see your miles and status. Thats really all you need plus many more stuff that make it great

Performance on this app is what you’d expect a low-level vibe coder to be able to put together. Whoever made this app is definitely getting over-paid.

Super buggy. Always gives error messages. Useless. Not very different from Delta in general.
Garbage
Last year I paid extra for an aisle seat from San Diego to New York. When I boarded the plane my seat had been reassigned to someone else and I was forced to the middle seat. I filed a complaint to be reimbursed. The complaint was ignored. There’s better options out there. I strongly suggest using another carrier

Good but Needs Work
I like the general user interface. However, often times when I’m searching for flights, I will plug in all the info and the “find flights” button just doesn’t work. It’ll ‘click’ but but not even attempt to load to a new page.
