The app has many functionality issues.. it crashes a lot, searches for flights say error or not available, but when you search the same flights, dates and time frames on the website, it works just fine. The interface needs a lot of work and software needs updating. The app should be most functional/efficient to use when booking flights. It’s frustrating to deal with all of its issues when one is excited to book a flight.

Can they make it any harder to do anything?
What’s the point in having an app if I have to provide every last detail about my trip in order to get any information? Face ID doesn’t work, doesn’t recognize my fight confirmation number, which I have to provide along with my first & last name - information I’ve already provided to login in! Very frustrating.

Larger font for confirmation number would be helpful
The app has always functioned pretty well for me. One thing I think would improve the app would be having the confirmation number in larger font or being able to tap it or something to enlarge. I often don’t see where my confirmation number is right away and I stand at the check in kiosk for too long trying to find the number to punch in. Otherwise the app is great.

Flight attendants don’t show up
App won’t allow booking; has cost me hundreds
App will not save my traveler contact info (phone number) and has now twice cost me over $100 as prices went up before I could get to a computer to book. Not a fan. 🤬

Disconnects boarding pass
Even while logged into my account, the app has twice now disconnected my boarding pass from the app while I’m in line for the flight, so I have to jump out of line go back into my email and re-sync the boarding pass.
app checked me in, i screenshotted the seat given, made it to airport and no check-in record
a hot garbage app. either a frontend problem — or a major backend failure. i made them take my seat back — from a stranger they had given it to. terrible experience for at least two people.
Terrible experience
This app is fine for flights but terrible for customer service for cardholders. It isn’t tracking my miles, when I attempt to add flights through their forms the chat asked me to log in three times, which I did each time and then it looped me back in and told me to log in again. I’m also not able to access cardholder benefits for my flights. Who has time for this nonsense?!

Ticket info
When I click on ticket info, it expands larger than the page…so it doesn’t all fit and it’s out of view. It works fine on their webpage. A bummer since An app should make things easier.
Upcoming Trips Not Displaying in Fly Delta Widget on MacBook Pro
After adding the Fly Delta widget to my MacBook Pro (Apple M4 Pro – Tahoe 26.6), the widget displays as blank and doesn’t load any upcoming trips.
Feature desperately needed!
The app generally works very well for me. I fly quite a bit for work, and Delta is my preferred airline.
One thing that I have noticed is there is a feature desperately needed:
A notification, similar to Google maps ‘quicker route’.
A prompt that asks you if you want to accept the seat upgrade that’s being offered.
I know it may sound silly to some, but for a person who is above average height, or claustrophobic, an aisle seat is the only option.
Because upgrades are given automatically, based on status, I am frequently upgraded to a seat next to a window, which never works.
Then I have to haggle with the gate agent to get a different seat in the aisle, if it’s even available.
Alternatively, when we set up our profile and say that our preference is ‘aisle’, make that a parameter that prevents upgrades to non-aisle seats.

Unable to add boarding pass to wallet
As the title says, tried several different methods to try doing a simple thing which is to add the boarding pass into apple wallet and it did not work. I tried 2 different browsers , I tried the same method in an android phone and the same issue.
Convenient but needs to be fixed
The app lets you do quite lot but one thing that I feel is a miss is that when you request for upgrade and enter your preference of isle, middle, or window. I often get the option that I didn’t request. App problem? policy problem? Doesn’t matter, just fix it Delta. No one in economy with a window or aisle seats considers a middle seat in comfort zone an upgrade. Thanks but no thanks.

Not for families, or anyone really
I tried to book a family trip using the Fly Delta app on my iPhone. Adding my family members is a nightmare. The information does not display after saving, and when moving to seating selection, it requires me to enter it again. And then it still does not display. There does not appear to be a way to get the other passengers to show up, even though checking the Save traveler box does seem to save them in a list of “known associates”. Then the app crashed. I foolishly tried again with the same lack of progress. I was running the latest version. So I deleted the app and saved data, re-installed and had the exact same terrible experience. Since I have a Delta linked credit card I am required to purchase through the app with the card to get any of the benefits. I’m beginning to reconsider my travel and credit card choices. Truly terrible experience. I contacted Delta and they wanted me to interact with an agent in a tiny window to book the flights, add all the passenger info again.

App Doesn’t Work
App won’t display Skymiles, my wallet, or my profile. All those pages are blank.
Now with Extra bugs
I don’t know what they did in the last update but it is no longer easy to book flight. They want you to book a rental car instead! Also, app no longer saves passenger data, no longer auto fills data. Now you must te enter all payment info, deny trip insurance like 5 times and re enter all information again.

What happened to backwards compatibility?
I cannot use your app anymore unless I buy a new iPhone. My iPhone 7 cannot run the iOS version your updated app requires. You lose a previously satisfied customer thus.
Password reset fail
I have attempted to reset my password seven times over the past week and all I get is a message that to set up at another time with no details on how to resolve- this app is useless
Impossible to Use Credit Card
All I want to do is upgrade my seats and pay using my credit card. This is impossible to do. I am stuck in a credit card authentication loop between the delta app and my wells fargo app. This isn't rocket science. It's incompetence in technical leadership.
