No companion profiles?
I am typically traveling with a companion and find it super frustrating that cannot save companion profiles for easier booking.
Login During chat
I was trying to get assistance with a reservation in my profile. I have Face ID for my login because my password is very long. However, I also have on my phone to the default to automatically fill my password neither one worked! I was already logged into the app when I got into the chat why do I have to log in again? Your system is buggy and it’s broken this app it’s horrible and it needs to be fixed if you expect me to llogin while messaging then allow me to paste or autofill my password. It would not let me do either and I have an iPhone 15 which is up to date with IOS 26.6.1. Also, you need to name your App Delta not Fly Delta because I can’t find it under F. Delta doesn’t start with F.

Slow to refresh info
Waiting 22 minutes now for info to refresh. This isn’t great when having a tight connection. Tried both cellular and wifi, and every other website is loading fine for me so not a connection issue on my side
Terrible
Incredibly slow and constantly giving error messages. I end up having to contact them via chat which I truly hate. For as much as I pay on their tickets, their app should be flawless.
Constantly times out
I’ve been Delta loyal for 15 years. This is by far the worst the app has been. Extremely slow, regularly times out, checkouts don’t process correctly leaving tickets unbooked. I think we’re seeing the tail end of a great run for Delta, unfortunately…
SkyMiles status means NOTHING
Delta's website wants you to download the app to get a "dedicated" number for Medallion members yet to get connected to the EXACTLY same general line and put on hold for 30+ minutes at best.
logs you out when you need it
this app is constantly logging me out, which is a real pain when you’re in line at the airport need to show your boarding pass. I can’t fathom why they don’t fix this.
Unstable app
I’m a loyal delta customer but had to fly United recently and wow, the delta app is so much LESS functional and helpful. It’s slow to load things even on wifi, doesn’t immediately update flight information, doesn’t always save your changes. It’s incredibly frustrating, especially now that I know how much better other airlines’ apps are.

Populate Name
The app does not populate the passenger name in the find my flight tab. The app as my data. Why not load the passenger name to start a search with confirmation number?
Worst airline
Constantly delayed, check bags at gate when there’s over head storage is empty, and rude staff.

Onboard WiFi
Delta claim fast free WiFi but this is very misleading. Even on their “newest” flights with delta sync the WiFi experiences extremely high latency and drops frequently. You can’t trust these claims for real world experience.

Had more flights cancelled and delayed then flights in total, and I fly often, but never had my flight cancelled 3 times before finally getting a flight
Inconsistent
The app doesn’t work when I need to check in or download boarding passes. It is very inconsistent.

why would i ever want to fly when they are artificially raising prices even more than they already do. at least dont say the quiet part out loud. deleting this app
The IOS 17.0
Just because I have not updated my iPhone, I cannot up date the app from Delta. I would need to download the IOS 17.0, but since my iPhone is an 8, it does not support the 17.0. Ugh!

Got diverted and missed my trip, took forever to get reimbursed.
Ridiculous prices and delays
Delta is no longer the best airline out there. They still charge higher than other airlines (ridiculously high) but the number of delays are ridiculous.

Terrible service
Aside from the app being mediocre, Delta is way overpriced for the value, charges for every little thing, and doesn’t let you sit together despite booking together unless you pay more. I fly a lot and they are could not care less about customers.
