Charged me 12 quid

Charged me 12 quid for a apparently 1£ 30 min ride

Super unreliable

Cheaper than Lime but get what you pay for. Often bikes have faults or the unlock won’t work, or issues with the app. Left me stranded too many times

I had to pay to sign up

I was charged during sign up without any kind of warning. I'm sure this goes against the App Store T&Cs. Really bad user experience.

Also, the "30 minutes for £1" offer feels like a marketing trap. After you sign up and they charge you to verify your credit card, which they don't refund, you see a message saying that you need to find a golden bike to get the offer. Of course, there's only one available, miles away.

Good bikes bad app

Bikes are great, prefer to any other service. However, there have been countless times when I have missed trains or lost out on purchased minutes because of the app - be it poor design or just plain breaking. I don’t have time on my commute to spend 5-10 minutes fighting with a forest bike to get it to unlock. Not knowing whether I’ll be able to unlock a bike once I’ve trekked out of my way to get to it is a deal breaker. I’ll be using other services for the foreseeable, which is a shame because I really would rather use Forest. Please fix the app

Customer service is a nightmare

Bike can be good however, customer service is shocking it does not exist

I used to enjoy biking

App never works. Bikeshare used to be reliable option in Richmond, now it’s unavailable. Is Forest owned by a taxi company?

Deceptive pricing practices

They are not transparent or upfront with actual pricing. Display £1 for 30 minutes. Charged £22 for one hour. Can only rent 1 bike per account. Terrible service. Call Center was also closed. DO NOT USE FOREST BIKES!!!

Fun fun fun

Whole family had fun better than expected +++

Worst experience ever

The app stuck when I needed to end the ride, and then over change me for £18!! Custom phone is dead, email is dead, live chat it Ai. No response since last month. That’s how they scam you.

The buggiest app ever

This app is honestly so bad . Trip start and end always finishes for ages , and even in this case - you can still be charged 16 pounds for 10 minute trip just because they think that you ended your trip in 2 hours .

One of the worst apps ever made

One of the worst apps ever made and inexistent client service

The best company ever

bike rides are amasing and way better then lime i love you forest

Terrible

Became the sole supplier of e-bikes in Richmond after Lime was banned. Between faulty bikes which you can’t start; a lack of supply; or the fact that you could literally pay to unlock a bike before it tells you it’s been rented; I am surely missing Lime.

App needs work

The bikes are great but the app is frustrating. Not smooth and location accuracy is way off. Takes a long time to start and end rides.

Worst experience (if I could I would give 0 stars)

This cycle ride experience is horrible, simply horrible

1. Even if you purchased min with money and it’s been in your wallet
It still charges you 1£ each time to unlock the bike
2. even after deducting it still takes 5£ as a caution money each time, even if you a penny short they won’t let you unlock and hire it
3. Each time after ending the ride it takes additional 2/3 min to end the ride making you deduct more minutes from your account
4. The speed is capped to 25 kmph and even if you try to pull the speed by paddling, it holds down the speed making you slow, even in the slop it capped the speed.
5. And it’s not cheaper 0.33£ per min, imagine you are at a traffic jam and it takes 12 min, even train ride seems justified.
6. And the UI is not user friendly and the system blocks your account every now and then.
7. The customer support system is always unavailable and busy and they never follow you back.
8. They don’t even respond well to the mail/ message.
9. They don’t even give you proper reason for blocking your account.
10. The map to find nearby bike- the distance is wrong.

Total Deception

Beware! The bikes ALL SAY “£1 for 30 minutes”. This is an absolute lie. All prices are way higher for sub 30 minutes. Stay away!!!!!

Don’t bother

If you need a bike in and around Clerkenwell don’t bother 5 bikes tried 5 unavailable even those the bike there been let down to many time choose lime !!

Location data wrong

I keep running into issues where a bike is shown on the map, I walk there and it isn’t there, which is a waste of time and annoying

Awful app and Customer Service

Constantly fails to end rides. Customer service lines don’t respond or follow up meaning you waste tonnes of credit / minutes. Used to use Forest religiously but switching to Voi or Lime. Had me standing around for 10-15minutes trying to end rides in multiple occasions.

Charged £6.51 for 19 mins instead of the advertised £1

Disgrace. Lying advertment. Charged £6.51 for 19 mins instead of the advertised £1
