Dublin tour: Guiness warehouse
I booked tour on 6/23/26 at 530p. Our flight got cancelled , therefore our booking was interrupted unprecedentedly. After back and forth communications with tour manager, our request for changing the tour time was rejected. As a result, I booked the tour directly from the Guiness warehouse website without any hassles. I hoped the “get your guide” could have handled the situation better. In addition, the booking I made not a guided tour, but an admission ticket.

Hidden Fees, Misleading Pricing, and Poor Supplier Oversight
I have used GetYourGuide multiple times, but my recent experiences have been disappointing. My biggest concern is the lack of transparency and oversight of some tour operators on the platform.
Several tours I booked in Vietnam included unexpected extra charges that were either unclear or not properly disclosed in the listing. In one case, I was asked to pay a large additional fee at the entrance despite having already paid for the tour, and the charges did not match the official published entrance fees. It left me feeling misled.
GetYourGuide should do a much better job of verifying that suppliers clearly disclose all mandatory costs before travelers book. Pricing should be transparent, with no hidden or surprise charges at the destination.
I also wish the review system were more transparent. Reviews are an important part of deciding which tours to book, so travelers need confidence that they accurately reflect customers’ experiences. GetYourGuide states that reviews are written by verified customers and that reviews describing genuine customer experiences generally remain published unless they violate specific guidelines.
Until the platform improves its oversight of tour operators and pricing transparency, I will be much more cautious about booking through GetYourGuide.

A “Great” Find!
Not familiar with Canada, GetYourGuide was a great discovery! We booked EVERY tour in Niagara Falls, Canada side, 3 tours & one show (4 total) via them. Every itinerary came with clear and accurate details (meeting place, time & process). Would use them again! Also, the price seemed cheaper than we saw posted. Great deal.

Unreliable as issues crop up
Buyer Beware! GetYourGuide is just what it says it is, a planning and booking service. If something goes wrong, they cannot help you so you’re on your own if a venue or booking has issues. Refunding you after the fact is the best they can do.
