Perfect for a night
Loved the decor, staff were helpful (even after hours). Parking was tight but there were plenty of spaces over the road if needed. Would love a washing machine but cannot fault it! 5 stars!!
Security breach someone else walked into my room in the middle of the night
They gave the keys to someone claiming they were in the room I was in walking in when I was in bed this is a massive security breach random people coming into your room at night

Think twice about booking this place.
We had issues accessing our room, we tried to contact the property between 5pm and 6pm several times with no answer. Even though the phone message said the reception was open until 9pm.
After an hour of unanswered phone calls and emails we needed to book a second room and download an app to receive room details.
We are now trying to contact the motel to get a refund on the first room that we were unable to access and our phone calls are being ignored. Think twice about booking this place. I wanted to give zero stars but the app does not allow this.

Surprising!
First time guest and I was very happy with my room, very clean and large with comfortable bed and pillows. I will definitely go back there again. The location is wonderful, close to downtown with a lot of cool places to eat within walking distance.

A lovely stay
I have stayed at both the U hostel and the I hostel and I greatly prefer the U hostel due to the welcoming staff, the nice cafe, and the quiet sleep I got there. The desk staff and cafe staff are really nice and make you feel welcome. The location is super fun and so convenient right next to the Metro and dozens of restaurants. You cannot beat the value!

Absolutely loved my stay at Nomads St Kilda! The vibe was fun and welcoming from the moment I arrived. Staff were super friendly, the location couldn’t be better, and it was easy to meet other travellers.

The app works quite well. We used it for a hostel. The reception desk set it up for us. Was very efficient and I actually preferred this over using a physical key card.

Worst hotel stay ever. Believe the other reviews that say the walls are paper thin. I know paper is thicker than those walls. I heard my neighbors conversation word for word including him blowing his nose. No blinds or curtains. Phone didn’t work. No way to contact anyone for towels or tissue until they magically appear at the desk at some point during the day. The shower didn’t have anywhere to put your soap or toiletries. Just a place to hang your towel. This place seems like a “pop up” hotel. The concept was cute but it didn’t land. I’ll never stay here or ANY boutique hotel until I’m cold and dead.
