Une expérience catastrophique avec Gotogate.
À la suite de l’annulation d’un de nos vols retour du Japon, mon dossier est devenu un véritable parcours du combattant pendant plusieurs mois. Malgré plus d’une vingtaine d’appels au service client, les réponses ont été contradictoires et aucune solution satisfaisante n’a réellement été apportée.
Notre dossier était pourtant lié à celui de ma meilleure amie afin que notre groupe voyage ensemble, ce qui m’avait été confirmé par écrit. Malgré cela, nous avons finalement été séparés.
On m’a proposé un nouveau vol que j’ai accepté, avant de m’en attribuer finalement un autre qui ne me convenait absolument pas. Résultat : un trajet retour d’environ 23 heures avec ma fille de 10 ans, une nuit supplémentaire à payer au Japon et l’obligation de modifier mon organisation professionnelle pour me faire remplacer.
L’application permet de consulter sa réservation, mais lorsqu’un véritable problème survient, elle ne sert pratiquement à rien : on se retrouve dépendant d’un service client qui semble incapable de gérer correctement le dossier ou de respecter les solutions précédemment proposées.
Après des mois d’attente, des dizaines d’échanges et énormément de temps perdu, je déconseille clairement Gotogate. Pour économiser quelques euros sur un billet, le risque n’en vaut absolument pas la peine. La prochaine fois, je réserverai directement auprès de la compagnie aérienne.

Achtung Betrug⚠️
Auf keinen Fall Flüge mit GoToGate buchen. Ein Flug wurde aufgrund eines Unwetters von der Airline gestrichen und GoToGate hat mich mit dem Problem alleine gelassen anstatt einen Ersatz Flug zu buchen. Der Kundenservice ist absolut unbrauchbar und GoToGate ein betrügerisches Unternehmen. Wegen ihnen habe ich beinahe 1000€ verloren. Wirklich Leute, lasst die Finger von diesem Unternehmen!! Es ist Betrug!!

Extrem schlecht.
Wichtige Infos wie die Stornierung eines Fluges, werden in der App gar nicht angezeigt. Oft kommt das Update erst Tage später… Sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. Nie wieder mit Gotogate!!

The airline already processed the refund. Let me repeat that: the airline refunded the money. Yet somehow, Gotogate continues to act as if this is not their responsibility, and like they never received any refund repeatedly pushing me back to TAAG fully aware that TAAG will not deal with me directly because I didn't book through them. This is simply theft. They claim my booking changed (and therefore it's technically active) yet my itinerary has been cancelled for almost over a month.

Very poor experience with Gotogate. Throughout the booking process, they keep advertising a lower “bait” price. However, when you proceed to payment, they suddenly charge a much higher amount and then claim that the fare is “dynamic.”
What’s even more frustrating is that they don’t clearly notify you that the price has changed before asking you to complete the payment. Instead, they prompt you to continue, and then, out of nowhere, an error message appears saying, “Something went wrong.” By that point, it’s already too late because they have processed the payment at the higher price.
This feels misleading and lacks transparency. Customers should be clearly informed of any price increase and asked to confirm the new fare before any payment is processed.
When you reach out to support they keep on giving you all kind of excuses.
They say they cannot do anything.
I strongly do not recommend anyone to book through them.

Sur l app 6 h avant le départ … et quoi si pas de wifi ou de connexion… horreur de cela mais au moins contrairement à opodo Gotogate fonctionne…

Je paye 70€ de supplément pour un Billet flexible censé me permettre de pouvoir modifier mon vol : À FUIR!!!.
Ils me disent que je dois payer 2285€ (alors que mon billet est à 425€) car il n’y a soit disant pas de vol au même prix. C’EST FAUX!! Je voyais en temps réel sur le site des vols au même prix et de la même compagnie que le billet que je souhaitais échanger. Ce sont des menteurs!!
Les agents répondent à côté de la plaque quand je les mets devant le fait accompli.
Ce site est à fuir.
De plus à l’allée , impossible d’avoir ma carte d’embarquement, le check in est infaisable

I do not recommend using this service
This was the worst flight booking service I have ever used.
I wanted to reschedule my flight and submitted my request two days before departure. The problem is that you can't change your booking or pay for it yourself—you have to go through customer support.
The first agent told me it wasn't possible to reschedule, even though the system was showing multiple available options. I contacted support again, and the second agent said they had forwarded my request to another department and that someone would get back to me.
Spoiler: nobody ever contacted me. I had to reach out again myself when there were less than 24 hours left before my flight.
This time, they told me they could reschedule my flight, but I needed to pay first. They sent me three different payment links, and none of them worked. After wasting even more time trying to make the payment, they simply told me it was now too late to reschedule.
The entire experience was incredibly frustrating. Poor communication, broken payment links, inconsistent information, and a complete lack of urgency from customer support caused me to miss the opportunity to change my flight. I would not recommend this service to anyone.
