TOTAL FRAUDULENT SCAM. DO NOT TRUST GOTOGATE! (THEY WILL HANG UP ON YOU)
If I could give this company negative stars, I would. DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM GOTOGATE. They are a predatory, fraudulent operation that will steal your money, cancel your flights, and completely ghost you.
I thought their customer service couldn’t get any lower, but they just proved me wrong. Here is the latest nightmare in an ongoing 2-month battle:
Hung Up on for Asking for Management: I just called them again to get answers about my missing refund. When I finally demanded to speak to a supervisor to get past the front-line lies, the agent straight up hung up the phone on me. This isn't customer service—it’s a hostile, cowardly scam operation.
The Endless Delay Loop: My tickets have been canceled twice since March 16th. I have now called them over 20 times. Every single call is met with scripted lies: "wait 5 days," "wait 48 hours," "wait 24 hours." They are just spinning a wheel of excuses to hold your money hostage.
Blatant Deception: They lied for months claiming they were working on my refund. I checked my archived ticket data and discovered they hadn’t even requested the money from the airline until yesterday. They did absolutely nothing for weeks while lying to my face.
Aggressive & Toxic Staff: Their employees are trained to deceive. The moment you catch them in a lie or ask for accountability, they threaten you, get defensive, and cut the line.
FINAL WARNING: This company has zero intention of giving you your money back. They take your cash, cancel your travel plans, and then block you from getting a refund by hanging up on you. Do not risk your hard-earned money. Avoid Gotogate at all costs!

What is the point of using this app
Booked flights about 1 month in advance got an email from go to gate stating that my flights were charged and to reply to the email for further information, I did and 2-3 times and they never got back to me stating what the charges were, when I checked on the app the flights were still the same with no change. When I got to the airport the airline had no information of my booking and that the flight that I was supposed to be on was changed cue confused check in staff due to not having my booking. Thank god for Qatar airlines were able to make the adjustment quicker that the go to gate were even able to figure out what was happening, got told that the flight had been cancelled and that they should’ve told me. The thing that made it the most ridiculous is that after I had fixed the go to gate blunder they had the nerve to update my booking on their app…beyond ridiculous and will never use them again and I urge everyone else to just book thru the airline.
