so, we are all being FORCED to change from halifax to lloyds, i get they are under the same umbrella and it makes sense to streamline, BUT, as usual the corner cutting extends to the tech team who seem to have employed yoofs who have little or no clue what they are doing and everyone being FORCED to move to what is essentially to them a new banking platform and lloyds HAVE NOT CONSIDERED THEY MIGHT NEED MORE SERVERS to facilitate the millions of enforced transitioners and as a result THE SERVERS HAVE CRASHED and my and thousands of others can no longer access our accounts due to ‘error 500’ which is an INTERNAL SERVER ISSUE….. i mean why is it we accept this corner cutting penny pinching greed from companies that earn BILLIONS from OUR MONEY….

App problems
App is very very slow to load or do anything, constantly down in my area which is a nightmare, I’ve been with Halifax for years but the app seems to be getting worse
Worst bank ever
It won’t process any of my transaction of my own money if i have to pay a big amount. It takes 30 mins to speak to a human! All blo***y computer options its impossible to reach a human. The app help chat is just a robot. I am switching asap cux i am tired of this third class bank now

Say tried long in to many times with wrong password when my pass word is my face sick to death with this bank think i will go change banks nothing but problems this one total waste of time im going down this week to close account

But the change in branding, as we the customers have not been given the opportunity to have our say in the rebranding, I will be closing my account the moment it goes to Lloyds Bank. Enough said I think, lost me as customer bye…

Used to like Halifax/BofS but their annoying changes recently have put me off the whole Lloyds group.
Switch to Lloyds
I recently bought a new phone, around the same time that I was forced to switch to the Lloyds banking app. Due to this I have been unable to add my banking onto my Apple Pay as it keeps referring me to the Halifax app which I can no longer use.

For whatever reason for the last 6 months the app doesn’t work properly. Unable to transfer money to internal accounts or external. Highly frustrating so have to end up using a webpage

Have been with Halifax for nearly 50years and never had a problem with them, know Lloyds are part of same group but heard bad things about them in past so possibly end up looking for a new bank rather than one forced to use, will however give it a chance first but plenty of banks offering free cash unlike Lloyds not giving anything to the loyal Halifax customers who have to change
