For all the advancements in their web app, they have totally neglected the app. It works like a buggy app that won’t open from early 2012. Rubbish.
It CAN get worse.
The app has never been great, but here we are halfway through 2026 and carrier pigeons would be more reliable than Intercom’s app. It is infuriating that the app is decades behind the web version. For the love of customer service please give the people what we are asking for (and deserve).
Blurry Transitions When Scrolling Through Different Sections
The app still becomes noticeably blurry when navigating between different panels, which makes it feel unpolished and frustrating to use. The issue was temporarily improved at one point, but it was never fully resolved. I also contacted the support team, but even after the 5.0.8 update, the problem persists.
The version before the Liquid Glass redesign provided a much smoother and more consistent experience. I hope the team prioritizes fixing these UI issues and brings the app in line with the latest iOS design standards.
