Login is absurdly difficult
Doesn’t remember me and I always need to do around 3 rounds of authentication just to check a message
Can’t Even Log In
Not sure if others have this problem, but I can’t even log into the app. The website when I get texted a link times out the first 4 times I click it from multiple providers. So I thought I’d try the app to see if it was better, but the 2FA timed out after less than a second and told me my code was expired. Then it texted me multiple new codes without even asking me. Finally one of those worked and then it made me do 2FA via email but I had 3 emails at this point with all different codes. None of them worked. So I tried to start over and it accepted my text code after the first try, but then the email code timed out and it just told me to contact customer service. I gave up and went back to try to link that was texted to me again and it finally worked.

So glitchy to log in
This app is so unbelievably temperamental to log in on. It routinely takes me 5+ tries. It either does an infinite loading spinner or it errors and restarts the login process when I put in the 2FA code. It’s not even consistently better or faster than clicking the link to open the browser. The app saves face ID and appears to not use it for anything at all.

Glitchy
i guess this app does make communication between providers and patients convenient. but this app generally sucks. it takes forever to log in, which you have to do EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. you need to contact your provider, despite checking the "remember me for 30 days" box. there are constant "unexpected errors" in the log in. if you make a misclick you can't go back without causing an error that makes the app unusable for the entire day. i swear i hate this app.

Ridiculous and Frustrating
The amount of effort needed to re-login every time my provider sends me a message is ridiculous. There is a box that you can tick that says “remember this device for 30 days” but even if you tick it, the app doesn’t remember your device. EVERY time I access the app I have to enter my phone number, get a code via text, enter my birthdate, check the boxes, find my provider, and then finally be able to send a message, and it’s so annoying. I have no idea how this app has such a high rating when there are way better patient communication apps available.

Borderline useless and a potential liability
First, let’s start with how many steps are needed just to log in: phone number, face verification, SMS code, birth date, and privacy policy agreement. Every single time you want to open the app. Second, I’ve spent more time on the loading screen than I actually using any feature within the app. It stalls out about 60% of the time and I end up just using the browser client, which is only slightly more reliable than the app. For a medical communication platform Klara is more of a liability than anything. Healthcare providers, please use something else!!

Too many steps
No way to recognize device. Have to navigate way too many screens to message provider team. Appreciate security, but build better controls internally.
A pain
Good concept but every time I access it there are ridiculous log in needs. I check the box to keep me signed in yet every day I have to redo my cell authentication AND enter birthday info. I dread getting messages through the app especially the frequent "thanks for your message" that requires similar authentication. I have multiple doctors on the app so is not the doctors driving this.

This app needs attention
I go to log in, and the stupid thing sends me the code, I put it it and it tells me it times out… HOW?! It literally just sent me the code? I end up having to log in multiple times just to access the app. Definitely needs attention.
Time Out Error
This app will time out my login attempts as I’m logging in!! It won’t remember me, it will time me out and then when I finally get through I’m stuck on a loading page!!
Trash
My allergy doctor decided to start using this. Not sure why, but it’s trash. Login is a nightmare. Also the people at the office are convinced you can pay for your visits on here which you can’t. She sent me a message that said you can pay here but there is no payment option or link. Pointless. Would give no stars if that was an option.

frustrating to use
Klara would not download on my Apple computer. I tried several times using different links. It’s very frustrating to try to use something that doesn’t work, especially since you can’t get someone on the phone. I like the medical practice but dislike the poor communication with the office.
Not worth the download
I’m not sure why this app exists honestly. Every time my providers send me a message via Klara my phone automatically opens up the browser version and bypasses the app completely. As others mentioned, the login process is atrocious. It says it remembers my account and has the correct number pulled up, but the second it does face recognition it resets everything. I then have to provide my phone number, input the code sent to my messages, and input the code sent to my email. If it finally lets me in (which it rarely does due to slowness), then it’s very laggy. 80% I have to give up on logging in because it sits there loading forever and never pulls up. This app is a major disappointment and I’m unfortunately deleting it now. I got it for ease of not having to login every single time and it’s not doing that. Not worth the hassle and a waste of time.

The login process is miserable. You have to login every time with a code sent to your phone or email which isn’t even done in the app. It’s done through a buggy webpage.
To check a message you gotta put in your birthday every time!
There are options to remember you for both of these issues hut both are non-functional.
I think the best part about the app is that it has stopped working altogether so I don’t have to use it anymore.

The worst login process, app doesn’t work more than half the time. You have to verify repeatedly just to get in and the save user info buttons do not function

What’s the point of downloading the app if it’s just going to immediately take you to the website to sign in…EVERY single time?? Never remembers my device and half the time says it accepted my order only for me to check back two days later and find out it didn’t. With the processing and mail time - 2+ weeks, how am I ever supposed to get my script on time??? NOT IMPRESSED!!

Confusing
The message is a reminder of upcoming appointment and asks for response. There is only one response option: cancel! I have had this appointment for two years, and do not want to cancel! I am afraid to click on cancel! Doing so adds an additional circle to the one there already. What does that even mean? Will not respond!!!

Not better for patient communication
I find the app requires WAY to many keystrokes before you can communicate with my provider. Other similar apps are much more user friendly (My Chart, Healow)
The 2 providers I have that use Klara are not reachable by telephone 90% off the time forcing me, the patient, to communicate via Klara.

Horrible app!
Horrible app which is always slow and I have to delete and reinstall every time. The website isn’t much better either.

Constantly asking to re-sign in even though the remember me option is enabled.
