Unreliable Arrival Times & Extremely Inefficient Routes
I’ve been using Metro Micro for over a year because I don’t have a car, and it’s one of the few affordable transportation options available to me. Unfortunately, the service has become extremely frustrating because the app and arrival estimates are so inconsistent.
The app will say a vehicle is estimated to arrive in 10 minutes, but **9 times out of 10, the vehicle is either very late or arrives much earlier than expected**. It honestly feels like the estimated arrival times and routes are being calculated by AI or an algorithm that does not accurately reflect what is actually happening on the road. Whatever system they’re using needs serious improvement.
The routes are another major issue. I’ve been picked up first multiple times, only to spend **30+ minutes in the vehicle** while we pick up other passengers and drop them off before I reach my destination. If I’m picked up first, it doesn’t seem fair that my trip can become significantly longer because of the route being planned inefficiently.
Metro Micro needs to provide **much more accurate arrival times and better routing**. People cannot reasonably be expected to stand outside waiting indefinitely because the projected arrival time is unreliable. This is especially frustrating when it’s raining, extremely hot, or late at night when waiting outside can feel unsafe.
I really want Metro Micro to succeed because affordable transportation is important for people who don’t have cars. BRILLIANT
Recently busted my car and this is a life saver! Basically gone car free now. Professional, on-time, CHEAP, and gets me all around door-to-door in my neighborhood. Best kept secret in LA.
Metro team: hoping you can extend to all of LA (do you have a roadmap somewhere of new communities?). Also, service until midnight would be awesome.

Good concept terrible execution
I’ve been taking the Metro Micro for about a week now the concept is good. It’s something to rival rideshare program within the existing network of the LA Metro however, the execution of it is abysmal. The rides that you request of wildly inconsistent, coupled with the fact that if you can even get a ride in the first place, I believe the system should be heavily refined or heavily funded.

Routing system is garbage
What’s unforgivable about this service is that at some point of your route it will pick another passengers up depending on the route that driver take in the middle of your ride. I have seen this thing add 2-3 people on my way home making me sit in the van for 40-50min. Total garbage of a gps system they are using.
