The app is only compatible with Chandler Systems valves that have a revision number greater than or equal to 'C2.00'. These valves use Bluetooth 4.0+ (Bluetooth LE) for communication, so your smartphone or tablet must also have Bluetooth LE capabilities. Most recently manufactured Apple devices are compatible.
You can view the firmware revision of your valve on the valve display. It is shown for 2 seconds immediately after the valve is powered up.
