Easy to use.
I’ve had an account with Monese from day one. I’ve only ever encountered one issue, but that was resolved accordingly. It’s super easy to use, and the monthly fees as low! Great overhaul bank
Hidden, deceptive fees
Opened an account with Monese in 2021 - they started strong with a competitive offering but the incremental account fees crept up over the years. Ultimately switched to another neo bank in 2024 and have just found out I’ve been retroactively charged monthly inactivity fees ever since. Plenty of comms re rejoining and signing up to new products in that time, but of course silence re the fees being applied

every transaction has almost £1(0.99p) transaction fee. I'm closing my account after 5 years of using monese

I try opening but no open for my i hawe accound with you but nothing here try many times to login in my account but i cant so. No good

The fees to use my own money are ridiculous! I opened with Monese because it was value for money, it’s not anymore.

I have had my account blocked by them and was set an email asking where I was getting my money from if I worked who I was transferring money from this is absolutely disgusting and very upsetting I would advise anyone to be very careful with this bank and app

Fees
See I have quiet a few prepaid banks, Monzo, Revolut and others but never regardless subscription rates, had to pay a fee when I SEND and/or RECEIVE money. It’s ridiculous.

Worst bank account
I’m trying to open new account they keep on showing your account is blocked message . I haven’t done any scam and fraud but still. I contact with customer service which is also very lazy , uncaring and doesn’t solve problems. I do so many email even done complaints but nothing happen . In my opinion , this bank need to be closed down

App rubbish
Can’t even connect ur bank says there issue. Keep getting logged out. Not great

I have all the proper documents, but never succeeded in onboarding due to their weird onboarding algorithms and terrible customer support

Closed my account for no reason. Although I had it for years and didn’t do anything wrong with it. Support was terrible. Would not recommend to anyone!

Honestly worst banking experience of my life they take transaction fees for absolutely everything this bank will rob u for ur money it is the worst banking experience I’ve ever had honestly avoid avoid avoid save ur pockets the help chat is horrible too their customer service on live chat takes an hour every response they send terrible customer service just a fraudulent app to extract money from ur hard earned income
