TELUS Promised Me $35/Month — Charged Me $104.16 Instead
I am extremely disappointed with TELUS and honestly feel misled by the sales representative.
I met the TELUS team at Tim Hortons while I was with Bell. They convinced me to switch to TELUS and clearly told me:
“We will make your monthly plan $35 every month. Your first bill will be $60, and after that you will only pay $35 every month.”
Based on that promise, I agreed to leave Bell and switch to TELUS.
But after switching, my first bill was $104.16, not $60. And now I am being told that my monthly plan will be $60 every month, not the $35 I was promised.
So what happened to the $35 monthly plan I was promised when I signed up?
This is not what I agreed to, and it feels extremely misleading. If the representative had told me the real price was $60/month, I would have never switched from Bell.
TELUS needs to take responsibility for what its sales representatives promise customers. A customer should not switch providers based on a specific price offer, only to receive a completely different bill afterward.
Very disappointing experience. I hope TELUS investigates this properly and honors the price I was promised.

Costs vs Service
Disgusting App
Fantastic!!
Use the app - call - use the app cycle.
The app asks me to call customer service to remove the add on service. When you call in it says use the app and request for a priority call back. The app work flow is not answered and asks me to call in! Horrible experience.

This has happened before 16 years ago to us by them, never again. Can’t be trusted to honour their contracts.
