System monitor?!? I doubt it…
I have a PV panel that has a zero volt output since May of this year. Not only have “ they” not detected it but have not replied to my text or emails. Pure Energy did the installation and “they” can’t be found or contacted!!! Buyer beware!!!

Your Apple Watch app has disappeared and I can’t seem to find any updates stating this. When is it coming back?

Okay, but TOO restrictive
If you’re interested in seeing the individual panel performance, you are better off using a laptop than a cell phone. I use an iPhone 15 Pro Max and struggle to read the small print shown on each panel.
Worse than that, if you want/need to change your WiFi parameters (network name or password), you will need to pay an electrician (who is certified by SolarEdge) to come to your house and make the change. It just cost me $200 to have that done because the company that installed mine went out of business and quit paying the cell phone bill. (The monitor options are WiFi or cellular service.)
You won’t know your system isn’t reporting the status/performance unless you check it! No email or text will notify you. I lost a we’d worth of info because the reporting system was trying to use cellular service for a month.

Needs attention
The app is frequently very slow to load on iOS.
Once loaded, it is pretty good. However one area that would really benefit from development is Time of Use settings for controlling the battery. For example, we get very cheap rate electricity night and would like to be able to prevent battery discharge during those hours.

Terrible New App
Have used solar edge app for a number of years & always been very happy but this new app is absolutely terrible. Rarely loads properly, can’t see our inverter any longer. I don’t know why they have to keep messing around with the app. It worked perfectly before but now useless.
New App Needs improvements
The new App released in May is constantly crashing and not reporting solar use data.
Also it doesn’t work well with iPhone.

Great until it wasnt
With the latest update the system continues to fail to show complete data. When opening the app, it will spin and spin… and still doesn’t upload all of the information. Very frustrating especially during high usage months and you want to track your usage.
Buyer Beware SolarEdge
My inverter has failed multiple times. It takes a month or more to get a replacement. The app fails and is buggy to connect constantly. Customer service is mostly outsourced to India. Buyer beware.
Failing to fix known fundamental issues with the app
There is a known issue with the car charger tab in this app on uk IOS 26.5 but they don’t declare it and it’s been weeks while we wait with no news for a fix. Luckily I have an old iPhone 10 running iOS 18 otherwise we would not be able to charge our car. Unacceptable.
The only way to speak to a customer service engineer was via our installer (who are still brilliant 3 years on) and solar edge admitted they are fully aware of this problem, have not fixed it and don’t seem motivated to hurry it

Good info but no notifications
I like seeing my solar production but twice the system stopped producing and I did not get any alerts. One time the inverter just failed and I had no protection for months. I got an electricity bill for over $1000. The app should offer a notification feature.
Can’t renew subscription
I can’t reboot the subscription, so my system is off-line. Every time I try to renew it I just get in acircular series of things that goes nowhere. I’ve tried to contact customer support and also have gotten nowhere.
Was great until it stopped working
App was great…until there was a forced update and it no longer will allow me to log in. How it says I have an “invalid CSRF token”.
DO NOT UPDATE!
6/26/2026 - I got a message on my phone that said the app had to be updated, which I stupidly did. The app is bricked now. Can no longer access my inverter to see if the system is working or not. DO NOT UPDATE YOUR MY SOLAREDGE APP!

If you’re going to force an app upgrade, at least remember my login credentials. Poor user experience I’m noticing with more app updates these days.

Missing critical feature.
The app is good if you’re checking it yourself periodically. But there is no function or feature that lets you know if the entire system goes down or even if one panel goes down. We’ve had an inverter go out and not know it was not working for weeks because the app doesn’t have any ability to alert you via message or even a badge. But don’t get me started on the Customer Service of the company which is horrendous. I would love it if they would add something that lets me know when the system is not functioning properly so I can address it.
