The app keeps crashing
The app is now closing every time I go to the Account section. Not super helpful!
OptumRx is my 13th reason
They keep canceling my prescriptions and when I try to call I have to go through layers of different people who keep redirecting me to someone else. What’s even the point of being on meds if Optum just increases my anxiety and frustration every time I try to use it??
Used to be a good app…
I can no longer see my claims history and really, without that it’s useless…
Chat screen is broken!
6/18/26 trying to “chat”. When clicking on “type your message”, the prompt disappears. -apparently behind the keyboard. After experimenting, it seems you can still type, but you can’t see the field you’re typing into. When you click on the check mark, it appears. After sending a comment, it does not allow typing another comment! Then the “Send” arrow skips around on the screen. Did anyone actually check this app on an iPhone 17? Unbelievable! Was this written by elementary school interns?
8/4/23 if you make an error when typing in your username, then check “Remember my username”, you get the appropriate signin error. However, now it uses the incorrect username you told it to remember, and it will not allow making changes to it!

Horrible healthcare
I have psoriatic arthritis. I have went through several medications to find one that works for me. Now Optum prefers a different medication. I have to FAIL that medication before they will pay for the one that works. My arthritis is so bad that I’m getting steroid injections in different joints and fluid drained off monthly. I’m missing work and I can’t care for my family like I want to. I am also a pharmacist and asked them to justify why they want me to change and they could not provide me with research saying that the other medication would work better for me. Just that it is preferred. I will be writing public reviews as much as possible. Also, every injection is a $75 copay and brings me closer to osteoporosis.

Cant login
Cant login to app or online. Have updated or redownloaded the app several times with no remedy. Whats going on?
Have you people heard of emails?
Every time I try to order a prescription for my kid, I have to re-enter my email. It doesn’t remember who I am despite faceid. Then, it gets grouchy if the email I enter is not the same case as the previous time. Who’s ever heard of case-sensitive emails?! Then I try to give them feedback, and guess what they need? My email. And they don’t like the email, so I have to retype and retype and retype. For Pete’s sake, have you ever heard of QA testing? Was this built for the Web 1.0?

Not useful at all
I want to switch my prescription from a store to home delivery. This app does not give me that option. Then, I changed my location to see pharmacies near me while I’m on a trip. Suddenly, the app can no longer see my prescriptions and gives me an error message
They fixed the glitch
Thanks for fixing the glitch. I gave you a 4 on my last review and said I would have given a 5 but for the screen shifting glitch. You get a 5. Thanks.
Used to not suck
I used to never have issues with this service but now everytime I get a new med i might as well have just gotten the meds at an in person pharmacy. They have me have to sign everytime for my adhd meds which means I have to be there everytime they might get sent which is monthly. Which shocking but I miss it everytime and have to reschedule a delivery or walk in person. This last time I have a depression med that I needed refilled and they never bothered to call about it and when I went to fix it it said the reason it didn’t send was because I owed them money. Like HOW?! How do I owe you money you are supposed to be auto charging my hsa card what do you mean I owe you money?! I fix that then reorder it and it cancels again with zero reason as to why just a multiple reasons bla bla bla by this time I am completely out of this med. oh and it’s a holiday weekend with no 24:7 customer service l. so not only have my meds been canceled with zero reason as to why I also have to but I also have to wait till Tuesday to call you to find out why you can’t be bothered to send me meds and tell me why not. I have had issues everytime I have had a new psych med set up. Thanks for wasting my time and insuring I ran out of my VERY needed psych meds. I will be slowly discontinuing my services with you.

404 error
Lately I’ve been getting a 404 ever and trying to login. It will not log me in at all. And I am using facial recognition to login.
Can’t get into the app
I can’t get into the app because I get an error saying I need to log in with my username and password. Then when I click ok it brings me to a blank screen with no place to enter my username and password. I can’t contact user support because I can’t log in. 😡
Worst app
I have been trying to log into this app for weeks. I’ve reset my password innumerable amount of times. I’ve even used a different email address/password combination. No matter what I do, it always gives a 404MEMBERPROFILE error. Every. Single. Time. I do not want to wait on hold for hours on the 1800# so I thought the app would be a work around, but nope.

Moving screen
I like everything about this app except the fact that when I’m putting in that I have taken 1 of my medications, after the second entry the screen moves. It goes off to the right side of my phone. It’s really annoying if I missed a day of recording that I took my meds. If this can be fixed, I would give you a 5 star review.

Can’t Login
After the latest update 4.54.0 I can’t login. The app says I need to use my username and password instead of FaceID, then presents a screen labeled Sign In but otherwise blank. Please fix this!
NOT FUNCTIONING APPLE 17 iPhone
A new iPhone 17 will not open this app’s i Informed OptumRx of the problem in mid April - to date 5/2 in spite of their attempts to remedy (delete restart reinstall etc.) no resolution to the problem.
Can’t log in
The app is asking me to login using my username and password to continue with Face ID. I click OK and it keeps taking me to a blank screen. I have no options to login to the app.
Login is broken
Can’t login, keep getting ERROR: 500-MEMBERSESSION. Can’t even login to App support.
Buggy app
This app is buggy. It freezes when trying to check my prescription. Causes my order to be lost. Competitor apps are easier and better.
Can’t log in
I had to update the app to login in. After I updated the app, I could not log in anymore. I had FaceID set up. It said I have to verify my identity by manually logging in. I get a white screen without the ability to log in. The app doesn’t work after the most recent update.
