I’m on the same app. It tells me my porter ID. Nonetheless, it asks me for it when checking in.

Would be nice it it provided flight updates.
This is my first time using the app and flying Porter out of YHU. Our gate as switched, the flight was delayed and the app kept showing the previous gate, same departure time for an hour after we were still grounded. What is the point of this app if it doesn’t provide updates for your flight? Not cool.

The app is very easy and clear to follow, especially the safety items for your carry-on and baggage.
Best Airline by far
I’ve flown on Flair, WestJet and Air Canada. Porter is by far the most organized and has the most space in terms of seating. I always get the seats in front of the Emergency exit for extra leg room as I am 6’ 2”. It is just a pleasure to fly on Porter

Never a hard book with porter.
I don’t recommend it
Never had so much trouble checking in online. Tried on my phone, computer on the app as well and it kept saying something is wrong or wouldn’t load. Ever since booking this flight I’ve had issues with the airline. I’m never one to complain or leave a bad review but truly this has been a bad experience. I don’t recommend flying porter.

Love the Airline
Always pleasant to fly with Porter I love only two seats per side. It could a little more comfortable but still better than others. And your ground crew is amazing.
Prix changement de siège
C’est inconcevable de charger un montant pour changer de siège alors que mes préférences de réservation n’ont pas été respecté lors de ma réservation.
Online check in not working
I was unable to check in online - it just said it was unavailable, while the person I’m travelling with was able to check in without issue. I called the Porter number and an agent was able to open up the check in for me. I was following the steps to change seats because I wanted to sit next to my travel companion. I don’t like the fact that you charge VIPorter members to change seats. I added my credit card information but it said “payment unsuccessful.” I tried again with the same result. I added a different credit card - same result. I tried using a Porter credit on my account and it said the same thing. I had to check in with the seat that was assigned. I am unimpressed with this whole experience.

Porter experience is typically 5/5, but their app needs to integrate the bookings instead of opening browser

Try 20 different things errors out every time tried reinstalling and clearing history erased cache still errors out.
Excellent app experience
Love using this app when I It’s fast, doesn’t crash, and layout makes it easy to find flight details, check in, and select seats without any hassle.
Slowest Airline app I have seen
There are two problems with this app: 1) it is slow, very slow. When booking it takes 2 to 20 touches in the area for the airport before it allows you to type in your departure or your destination. And for your departure I found it insulting that Toronto is already set there and you have to delete that before you put in your actual departure point.
The second problem it does not adhere to what you have set in your system settings for don’t size. In this day and age, what App developer thinks they know what size everyone wants to use?
