Something that could be so simple is overcomplicated and made nearly impossible for the user to check in for a flight, horrible design, and they really need to rethink how they do things

Can’t select a seat
I paid for Econo Flex which includes seat selection. The app won’t let me select a seat. Call in wait time is excessive. Follow-up: I tried calling again and was given a message that approximate wait time was 5 minutes. Over 30 minutes later I was connected to an agent that was extremely helpful in making the sear selections I wanted. I still don’t understand why I could not do this on-line.
