No assistance
Due to an outdated email address that I no longer have access to, I cannot use my Amex benefit. They continually point me back to Amex. It isn’t Amex. It’s the fact that I have an account from years ago with the wrong address and do not remember my password. The fact that they have, apparently, no way to fix this is absurd.

Lowered benefits
As soon as I got this card the benefits got reduced. Used to be able to bring a guest with you but not anymore. Seems harder to find a lounge at several major airports or only available in terminals I don’t have access to. Just not as beneficial as I thought it would be. I think on my last 3 or 4 trips not a single lounge available. So kinda disappointed.

Priority Pass is a Scam
I had two visit entitlements so I entered a small regional lounge in Vietnam just to use a clean bathroom.
I confirmed multiple times that I can I use my 2nd entitlement for my wife. They said yes
The priority pass charged me USD35.
On top of that the entry fee for that lounge was only USD10.
I would have paid that if not lied to.

It only takes priority pass until 1:30pm, who flies in the middle of the date out of the country????

Worse service with the front receptionist need to get more professional people I have been a member since 2022 she was so aggressive to see a Mexican in that lounge and didn’t let me in

The lounges I’ve been in are terrible. They change the app over and over , it’s not user friendly.

At exactly 07:56 am on July 13 2026, my fiancée and I had a horrible experience at the VIP Lounge Bajio at BJX (Bajio international in Silao Guanajuato). The receptionist at the front desk gave me the most difficult process for entry into the lounge. She asked for the QR code for my priority pass and or the priority card. I didn’t have either of them. In the past I’ve issued (to all receptionists at any airport lounge) my 10 digit priority number, and I’ve always been granted access. So, I naturally stepped to the side to download the priority app and download the QR code. Still, after downloading the app and generating the QR code, the QR code reader that the receptionist had was not really my code. It generated a “failed message”. So I again stepped to the side and logged out of the app, logged in again and still nothing. I then added the code to my wallet and tried again, but to no avail. I thanked the reception for all her wonderful help and consideration. Mind you, I had everything in possession to be granted access into this lounge but no. I’m kind of regretting getting the AMEX platinum card. I’m sincerely disappointed with this service my fiancée and I have experienced.

Tried to create account. When I got to enter a user name no matter what I inputted it said it was taken. Some of my input there is now way they were used as a user name.

Having forgotten my password, I tried several times to reset it, however after also forgetting the security question, I have struggled to get hold of someone to help me.
Very disappointed that the security on this app is so frustrating.

Priority Pass - Chase Sapphire Lounge
I was not impressed with the Chase Sapphire Lounge, the food was cold and the service was bad.
They required you to scan a QR code to view the food menu which consisted of burgers and fries. I prefer the AMEX lounge over the priority pass lounges, we left the Chase Lounge and went to the Boston priority pass lounge and it was worse than the Chase Lounge, little to no food. Horrible service and we waited 45 minutes to get in only to find cold chips and dip, old soup and horrible cookies. I had a ginger ale and that was it.

Just veggies sticks, couldn’t even get coffee….bar was open…
Arrived at VIP lounge at 2:30pm. No hot food, just veggie sticks and no coffee, I paid for 35.00 for a guest pass for absolutely nothing… waste of money….

Not a priority pass anymore
I was put on a waiting list and waited 3 hours at Atlanta airport. By the time I boarded my late flight I still hadn’t received an invite to the lounge.
Same experience in other busy airports such as LHR and not so busy airports like BHX. They also ask for money just to be put on a waiting list. Absolutely unacceptable.

No Access
Erste Lounge was full in PRG and the restaurant (Aeroport) that the lounge referred me to didn’t accept my Priority Pass Membership.

90% of the time the lounges are full and has to be on waiting list for 1 hour. And the lounges you have access to requires fees to eat. The free stuff is only coffee, tea and croissant. NOT worth it to join at all.
