I’m Back!
Over a year ago I was doing the Pump. A combination of issues (read excuses) caused me to stop (let’s say paused). About 2 months ago I came back. Then I came down with a troublesome cough. I’m 76 years old with shoulder issues, neuropathy in one foot, the beginnings of arthritis, and bunch of other annoying stuff (but no big major systemic problems that I know of). So a nagging cough and cold that I couldn’t kick with my usual natural remedies wad particularly disturbing.
Two doctors later (and more meds than I care to take) I am finally coming out of it.
Today I did exercises #11 of the routine I started long ago.
I was surprised that when I came back I was right in the same place I paused. In one way I was gratified that APC let me do that considering that money back deal (it truly was not my incentive), but I understand you don’t do this for the money (one of the only ones). In another way I questioned how you can say the app is tailored to me when you had no idea about what I did or didn’t do for my body in the year since I paused. I was required to do the amount of sets and reps just as if I was maintaining the pace all along. How can that be?
After this morning I realized two things:
1 - Your email posts (thank you for being relentless) have told me it is better to do something, anything, than doing nothing! So I did #11 in the stinky form and with fewer than the suggested reps. But I did it! AND
2 - When you did that you were saying between the lines - YOU CAN DO IT!! And I did!!
I’M BACK!!!!!!
See you next time!!

Small steps
I find I can make progress following the apps workouts for me. If I can’t do the recommended sets or weight the next time around it reminds me with targets I can achieve. If I were on my own I would push too hard not taking rest days. Then I would injure myself.
Easy to use
This is an awesome workout app. It makes it so easy to stay on track with your workouts, and you always know what exercises to do. I really like how easy it is to keep track of your progress.
Excellente App
