Face ID problems
The App generally is helpful but the use of biometrics including Face ID seems to fall away repeatedly. Have kept the app up to date and have moved onto a current model iPhone but problem is repeated. Face ID working on all other apps.

Life made easier controlling my day to day running of my account, with out long waiting frustrating listening to music and machines giving opinions that are not what you want or need before being transferred to a human being

I have been a customer for longer than I can remember. When I opened my account RBS was called Wllliam and Glyns. I have had no problems and some good help and advice over the years which is why I have remained a customer and not switched. It would be nice if the bank rewarded loyalty to customers like myself as they are happy to give rewards to new customers. Overall, however. Good job 👍

Customers no longer matter, everything is automated, online and when they mess up customers and the impact they have on them don’t matter. Choose a different bank

The app is available 24 /7 and very simple to use, banking is easy to use and brilliant for doing things quickly. 😎
Stop asking
The app is good. I have given it 5stars the last 12 times it’s asked for a rating. But after every time it asks during me using the app, it gets very monotonous!

Excellent, it works well! Clear and organised.
It saying there’s an error
Any time I try to open it a page will come up saying there’s an error and gives me instructions on how to fix it but nothing is working. I’ve tried everything to try and get back in but it’s not working.

Cheque deposits in app
I would love to award 5 stars but the cheque deposit facility in app lets it down. Cheques that deposit in app without any issue never fail with another Bank but regularly fail with the RBS app.
Bad notification system
In app, there’s a bell icon and a number of notifications. I have 51 now from statements available, and old approval requests. All the stuff ive seen already in push notifications outside the app. They only go away if you manually click through all the notifications you’ve already seen. A ain’t doing that, because I will have to do it all over again soon anyway.
Add ‘read all’ button. Also make it go away if i clucked on the push version of the same notification.

I think the RBS app is great and it’s so easy to access all my accounts and carry out any transaction 24/7.

I love this new update, it makes my online banking experience so much easier and quicker, which in turn makes life easier,absolutely fab, I love it, I would like to see a messaging facility on here to, but apart from that it's amazing, easy to use, customer friendly, well done ladies n gents 👍🏻 A well deserved pat on the back to all involved 👍

Simple and easy to use
Apart from occasionally having problems with authorising online transactions, and paying in cheques, the app is so quick and easy, and I would rather the security of RBS and have the odd failure.
