Smart Tasks - Lists Made Easy

Thank you for using Smart Tasks! This update brings Smart Tasks to the new Siri on iOS 27, makes every widget smarter, and adds quality-of-life improvements to Apple Watch. *** What's New *** Siri AI - Ask Siri to add, complete, edit, or delete tasks by voice or in the Siri app - On-screen awareness lets Siri see what's on your screen, so you can say “complete the second task” or “what do I have to do today”, and Siri will know what to do - Create a new category by voice, and Siri will automatically give it a color - Siri shows Smart Tasks' own task and category UI, and you can tap it to open the task or category - Send a task in a message by voice, like “text this task to Mom” - Asking Siri to find a task will open the search field in Smart Tasks with your search term filled in - Complete tasks from the Lock Screen by voice. You'll need to unlock your device if you want to delete a task - Tasks added by Siri without a date use your default date option, just like tasks added in the app - Requires iOS 27 or later with Apple Intelligence Widget Improvements - The extra large widget on iPad shows each task's time or date under its title - The Progress widget can now track just a single category. It still tracks all tasks by default - The Category and Progress widgets open their settings the moment you add them, so customization options are easier to find (iOS 18 or later) - See each color next to its name when choosing a Progress widget color - Widgets rise to the top of the Smart Stack while you still have tasks, and around a task's due time - The Smart Stack can suggest the Category widget for categories you open often - Lock Screen widgets count down the last half hour before a task is due - Controls assigned to the Action button now say what they do as you press it - Major improvements to when and how widgets refresh their data Apple Watch - The Smart Stack suggests your tasks in the morning, your progress in the evening, and either one around a task's due time (watchOS 11 or later) - Today's tasks now show up in the Smart Stack on your watch - The progress ring now comes in circular, corner, and rectangular styles - An inline complication shows how many tasks you have left today - A New Task control for Control Center, the Smart Stack, and the Action button (watchOS 26 or later) - Each timed task gets its own Smart Stack card around its due time (watchOS 26 or later) General Improvements - Fully updated look and feel for iOS 27 - VoiceOver improvements *** Bug Fixes *** - Fix bug where opening Next 7 Days from the widget may show it twice - Fix bug where you may not be able to see the checkmark in the widget when your home screen is tinted - UX fixes for the watch app - Minor fixes to widget UIs - General speed/performance improvements Learn about new features and pro-tips on Instagram @smarttasks I'm always trying to make Smart Tasks better by updating regularly.
