Great service
Incompetently designed
I bought a new house that came with GE wifi enabled appliances. Unfortunately none of them works consistently with this app. I am generally tech savvy, but this app is beyond my ability to use. The builder who chose GE wasted his money, and I in turn have wasted mine. I am very annoyed.

Ha ha dishwasher died after 12 years so we replaced it with a GE. Everything went well. in the app - said there was a software update for the dishwasher. And now it can’t connect. Does GE actually test these things? I don’t get it??!!

So now SmartHQ just emailed me to tell me that my accessory has been deleted from my account - for the love of Christ: Why?
For some reason works perfectly with one mini split air conditioner, and the other one just keeps disconnecting.

App Doesn’t work right for profile washer
App no longer allows to add or edit washer cycles. It will not save. Please fix. Purchased for this feature and no longer works.
Can’t even log in
I’ve reset my password half a dozen times and I still cannot log in!! So frustrating.
ONLY WORKS 2/3TIMES
I use this for my GE Window unit AC. When opening the app the status only loads up two thirds of the time. Then the ads pop up. When I click on the x button to close the ad it takes me to the ads site instead of actually closing the ad. This has been an awful experience.
Lose connection
I continually lose connection. I click to start the oven, it starts and the app goes offline.
I can’t use it because my phone is not updated?
Give me another update then I am on ios16. I paid for a product promising smart home capability. If you have an older app that worked before why are you suddenly telling me I cannot use it?

Nothing Smart about it!
You cannot connect to the appliances with two accounts or one account and two phones (on the same network.) If I am connected to the appliances my wife cannot do that. Constant login/logout play is unacceptable.
Love it! Perfect for the home baker on a schedule
Has a few quirks to work out overall I love this thing. Ready on time making my life more organized!

The Verification email is broken
I downloaded this app to control my AC but when ever I signed up it said I had to verify my email so I went into the spam folder and clicked the “link” it gives me but the link didn’t work for some reason so I deleted the app then redownloaded it it still didn’t work so I made a new email but it still doesn’t work if you could help me with this that’d be amazing but till then 2 stars

Have had no issues with. Reconnected no issues after a recent power loss, and after several internet outages.

Apps sign up issue
Not able to receive email for verification. I am based in NZ. Nothing works despite my email behave normally. Resend does not work. Nothing found in the junk mailbox too.
Some big issues, but can remotely change settings
My biggest issue is the appliance, my best guess at least, resets settings without user input, requiring the user to log back in to change back to the desired settings.

App will not verify
Having the same problems as loads of other people are having, it will not verify me even though you get a message saying congratulations you can now log in. Not very smart!
Strong dislike
I’ve had this app around 3 years. It constantly forgets and disconnects my range. Always have to re-add it over and over. A lot of times it just doesn’t work. There’s been times it’s told me the washer and dryer were off; when I went to go tend to the clothes both were in the middle of cycles. There’s always new updates, but yet I’ve yet to see what’s been fixed
