Got paid and $100 total in square fees to transfer it’s totally insane that fees are that high
Convenient app!
I like being able to easily check on, create and send estimates and invoices right from my phone. There are just a few things that you cannot do from the app that you need the desktop version for, but otherwise the app is the most convenient.

For the second time, I feel Square has pulled the rug out from under hemp-related businesses after allowing us to build our operations around its platform.
Businesses like ours trusted Square with our payment processing, customer database, transaction history, marketing programs, subscriptions, and other critical parts of our day-to-day operations. Square benefited from our processing fees and business for years, but when policies change, there seems to be very little consideration for the businesses that relied on the platform.
Now the burden is suddenly placed on us to download and preserve our own customer information, transaction history, marketing subscriber data, and other important business records before access is affected or lost.
That is what bothers me most. Square encourages businesses to build an entire ecosystem on its platform, but apparently that relationship can change very quickly when Square decides it no longer wants to support a particular industry.
Hemp businesses are legitimate businesses with employees, customers, rent, inventory, taxes, vendors, and years of customer relationships. We deserve reasonable notice, transparency, and a responsible transition process — not to simply be treated as expendable after Square has profited from our transactions.
This is the second time I have experienced this type of treatment from Square, and it has seriously damaged my trust in the company.
My advice to other business owners: do not assume that because your customer information, transaction records, marketing lists, and subscriptions are inside Square today that you will always have convenient access to them. Maintain independent backups of everything important to your business.

AI Customer service took my money
The wrong customer at the same business paid the wrong bill. I refunded the money and didn’t have it in the Square account. They pulled money directly from my connected account and overdrew the account. My business gets paid once per month, and I received overdraft fees for every day after. When I contacted customer service an AI responded that I was responsible for these fees and asked if there was anything else. It irritated me and it made me want to cancel the service.

Square won’t release my money
Square won’t release the funds I was legitimately paid. After creating the app and giving all I mean ALL my information they wrote back and said that wasn’t enough. My ID, social security, the information of the customer and still nothing. Look on Reddit. I wish I did before creating this account. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else

I believe Square Invoicing is being discontinued.
It’s perfect for what I use it for, unfortunately Square is pushing everyone to a $50/month plan, whereas my Square Invoicing plus is around $22.
Square, am I wrong? If not, it looks like I have to find a new invoicing and credit card options.

The invoice maker is a very convenient feature. It's flexibility and customization allows me to never miss a sale, while maintaining a professional presentation of my brand. I love Square.

All the fees
Make sure if you get this application Square Invoicing. Unless you can afford to lose 10% anytime you get a payment through the app All the fees are Garbage and I will find another app that will not do this to me for invoicing. It’s unbelievable. It’s really sad. And they’re making money off of your money even more than you ever thought.

Great business income platform
I’ve used Square for the past 7 years and have never had an issue. Fair packages for any level of business. Very user friendly and well organized. I’ve also had multiple loan offers with great success. The loans have helped me improve my shop where traditional banks wouldn’t bother.

Always trouble
Never works right unless I pay for the service, which they already take a percentage on the charge why should i then also pay a subscription just so it works properly. Corporate greed at its best
Rate changes significantly raised
I used to pay $20 per month for the services I needed. They automatically force me to swich over to a service that’s $100 per month with a bunch of additional services that I dont even need. If you only need to send invoices and book keeping there’s plenty of other services you can use! Shop around
