A client paid a $1000 invoice and it cost approximately $100 in fees to simply receive the payment And transfer it to another account. Criminals
Absolutely horrible support
Had to move to a different invoice program after square repeatedly lied and refused to take accountability and then tried to default the account after we refunded the customer, they then went past the maximum 7 days to process said refund, it was not until I showed literal evidence within the app that they admitted fault and still took no accountability. had we not had a good relationship with this customer, we could have had our business reputation tarnished. Do not use square.

No sound notification
Please add or fix the feature to when an invoice is paid or viewed or any type of notification from the invoice app that there’s a sound notification.
Also when a payment link is created and it’s paid for we don’t get any type of an app notification that the payment link has been paid only email. Please add a feature that we get an app notification for payment links that are paid so that we instantly get notified of that payment.

Square Helped Us Grow💙
Square has helped our small family landscaping business grow tremendously!! From sending out estimates to collecting payments, Square does it all. We have been blessed enough to qualify for 2 or 3 business loans through square that we pay back with a percent of our daily sales. This has been second to none in helping us buy more equipment to expand our business!!!

When I needed something to help me with scheduling a billing for my business, Square is a good app for that! It’s easy to get used to, and it keeps me in contact with my customers. I asked them how it’s going for them, and they tell me that it’s pretty easy to use. Across the board they like it! It also offers website, other friendly options, and other services that are beneficial to business. i’m still learning all the ins and outs of the app, but it’s user-friendly. The fees are expected but reasonable, making it worth the investment to get the help I need in my one woman team…. I’d give it a try and see if you like it! It’s worth the investment of time and money.

Have backups ready, don’t put much hope in Square.
The software? Great. The options and benefits of Square, great? The hoops and inconveniences you have to jump through for a ‘free’ service? Not great. After days of submitting supporting documentation, bank statements, my customers contact information, material from my business and explanations, I was approved by Square’s internal review. Thank goodness after the time I invested to successfully prove them that I wasn’t some third world country fraud scheme…only to try to use the software once more and receive notification my account was being closed.
Just save your time and effort and go elsewhere. My experience with Square has been so disappointing.
