One of the best new company’s from the UK.
Very strong and consistent performance. I have particularly benefited from their consistency when drawing money aboard. I consider them one of the best international UK banks. Ironically considering they beat some of the more international uk banks on fees without paying a lot for premium features.
In short if you’re looking for a modern elegant banking app with good customers service and great for international withdrawals then start here.

Restricting my business without giving me notice
that money for my girls bus pass and you guys restricted my business account. I’m a single mom and it’s so much hard to meet the end of the month. That money meant so much to me. I’m extremely stressed right now.
Making life difficult for business
Literally trying to make a payment to a tenant for their deposit return and it’s flagged it as fraud. We are registered with the bank as a landlord company. Utterly useless

The banking app keeps on improving and navigating the information is now far more easier than before.
Poor Service - Horrendous
As a bank they used to be exceptional. They now reject new account applications randomly, without any transparency or communication. I have since moved new business banking to Metro and Tide as a result.
Brilliant
You do everything on here so well I would simply not entertain using anyone else for banking. But your home page ust to be so elegant and unique but sadly it's dropped off over the years
Returning customer
It’s a shame there appears to be no way to return to Starling. Closing an unused bank account was always good practice, had I been told I couldn’t return I would have left the account, especially with all the features now available that weren’t when I closed.
Saving denied
For some reason I cannot set up a savings account. Seemingly I am not eligible. This makes no sense I have funds to do it and no bad credit. But when I ask the answer is that they review accounts from time to time. They won’t tell me why I am not eligible or when it will be reviewed. What is the point in having a chat if you can’t actually resolve anything. Totally unimpressed and I will move all my accounts. Personal and business elsewhere. I used to recommend starling I do not now
