Honest review

The app is fine for the most part. However, our garage only a few hundred feet from street level and you pretty much have to turn in pretty quickly. Otherwise you risk getting rear-ended trying to get into the complex so when the connection is weak because of the thick garage walls and you can’t open the gate because the app won’t load, people pile up, and it does create a safety concern for drivers that are driving into the garage. Generally speaking, the app is great and user-friendly however because there’s so many points of entry in our building, it does make it kinda difficult to know which one you need without having to physically scroll through every single one. If there was an option to just see the pictures of the doors/points of entry instead of the titles that would be great, but you physically have to scroll and click onto every single entry point to view the picture of the door that you’re selecting and it’s not time saving. I recommend maybe integrating a map of the complex and being able to select doors from the vantage point that you are at. Aside from the app, I wish our complex would just give us a key fob to be able to remotely trigger the garage gate to unlock, BUT I do understand how by implementing STRATIS it save them time and money in avoiding having to re-issue key fobs for residents that keep losing them OR sharing with non-residents which creates a safety concern.
I have not tried the guest entry feature (like assigning someone entrance during set times) so I can’t speak on that. -DG

Device is not even available when you get to the right door!

Insanely inconvenient

This app solves one problem by compromising several conveniences. This is the worst security system if it’s your only one because of how long it takes to get in your doors. You can’t save your passwords, it logs you out of your account randomly, and god forbid you have your hands full coming up to the door. Whatever you do, don’t leave the house without your phone. This app has caused me to leave my door unlocked because of how much I hate using it.

Fácil de usar, moderna e innovadora

Not close enough

Whenever I try to use the app to get into the door, it always says that I’m not close enough even if I am 1/2 an inch away from the lock it still says that so it always takes forever for me to get in the door

Widgets don't work

The app itself is ok I haven't had any major functionality issues. But the widgets do not work on iphone, home screen doesn't even let me add it. This needs fixing

Cannot access apartment

I am a guest in brother in laws apartment and although he has provided full access I cannot use the app to open the door. Days and days of troubleshooting and no news.

Hate the lock

Wait to slow to unlock

Poor Door Control

It’s easy to unlock the door, but there is no command to lock it. I found it difficult to lock and harder to feel confident it was locked.

Security and privacy is the most critical

At Turtle Creek Apartments Tim and Reggie showed us how to use this app. It actually helped us in the long run with going in and out of our home.

Garbage

Terrible app

Slow

Not the fastest and will only allow a visitor two weeks access at a time.

Slooooooow!

This app is so slow to connect with devices within a foot of the phone, it renders the app absolutely useless

NEEDED UPDATES

Need to allow unit access while being out of range and unit access to selected guests for a specific time period. Also never works when within range

Bad design

You have to have WiFi to use the app which doesn’t make sense as you are likely not to have WiFi on elevators

Decent but sig room for improvement

Too many issues giving guests access (would love to renew with a click of a button, give access to apartment remotely, etc). Also takes a long time to connect when standing right next to the door

Good app

Like everything else, there’s always a learning curve. Each app reflects usually more the developer’s mind than the user’s needs. This app is no exception. But once you start understanding it, you find that you can do the tasks it was made for. Now I am using it more and am in general satisfied.

Good But Slow

The app is great and convenient but sometimes it takes more than 30 seconds to connect to and unlock a door. If I was being chased, I would definitely get caught.

Very glitchy and slow

Locked out of my apartment because the app does not work. App kept crashing and saying I need to agree to new terms. Even when it did work it would take awhile to load and can be difficult to find the names of different locks.
