Nice app but disappointed

I really wanted to LOVE this app. And while I more than appreciate finally getting accurate step counts on my walk while keeping BOTH hands on a stroller/wagon, I am highly disappointed that I cannot see my walk route on the maps. I love being able to go back to my outdoor walk sessions and see exactly where I walked. However when I use this app it does not provide that feature.

Perfect for Apple Watch Moms

This app has been such a great addition to my fitness journey! I love that it syncs with Apple Health and my Apple Watch, so all of my walks count toward my activity rings. It’s helped me stay motivated while getting outside with my kids. I highly recommend it!

Love it!

I’ve used Stroller Steps for about a month and I’ve loved being able to track my steps on my Apple Watch. I had no problem setting it up, and I use it every day! Being able to actually see how much (or little) I walk has been a game changer for my postpartum health.

Love this app!

I would always get frustrated on outdoor walks with my stroller never picking up the right amount of steps! Now it picks up the missing steps I couldn’t have asked for a better app!

😍 so happy about this, I go on so many walks and the correct steps never get counted Apple Watch alone. So glad this exists now, my steps are getting tracked 🥹

Game changer!

Just started using this app, but it’s definitely a game changer. I usually use the walking app on my Apple Watch to record my walks, but I was shocked to see how many steps the regular walking app missed. Can’t believe I would have missed about 1500 extra steps. Really happy that this will help me get a more accurate step count reading and give me a better picture of my daily activity.

Pointless

In order to use this, you need an Apple Watch. That defeats the purpose of why I need it. I take most of my walks with my phone in the stroller, it does not recognize these steps. I was recommended this app. If I’m wearing my Apple Watch my steps are counted even when walking with a stroller. I need something that will track the distance steps when the phone is in the stroller. Absolutely would NOT PAY MONEY for this.

Stroller Steps is built specifically for Apple Watch users whose wrist motion is restricted while pushing a stroller — which causes the Watch to undercount steps. You're right that it requires an Apple Watch, and I'm sorry that wasn't clearer before you downloaded. If your phone is in the stroller basket, that's a different problem that Stroller Steps isn't designed to solve right now, but I'd encourage reaching out to Apple Support about iPhone step tracking in that scenario. I wish it was fixed on iPhone too, and I'm sorry the app wasn't what you needed — I wish I could have saved you the frustration.

I walk with my you and, our 14 year old, and our newborn. Their steps are 2000+ ahead of mine, even with this app. I’ve updated my phone, repaired my watch & this is all from my Health app, not even just the fitness. It’s not calculating correctly.

Should have been made a long time ago!

Crazy that most health apps can’t track steps accurately while walking a stroller. This is a great app for parents who get their steps out with their small kids!

Doesn’t work

I have been on several stroller walks since using the app and it always registers 0 steps. All health permissions are turned on and watch and phone are up to date. What a disappointment because the idea is wonderful!

Love Seeing My Step Count Accurately

I’ve been saying for years that the Apple watch should already have this feature. As someone who does most of their walking with a stroller I was losing thousands of steps each walk. I’ve been loving stroller steps and seeing my hard work reflected accurately in my daily step count! Would recommend to any and all stroller users!

Finally getting credit for my steps!

So glad to be able to fully account for all the steps I am taking postpartum— especially when movement/exercise already feels limiting. Starting to feel much more accomplished!

Does not work

You have to pay before even starting a walk. Steps are not updating walked for 20 minutes. The BPM stays at 0. When clicked on start stroller walk only counts minutes walked… paid 9.99 for nothing.
Yes my iOS is updated and using Apple watch 11. 😲😲😲
