Use Anything But This
I don’t think Uber properly vets their delivery drivers, so many are unreliable and/or untrustworthy. Expect about 20% of your orders to be FUBAR. Customer support is pretty much useless, so there’s little recourse when something goes wrong. If you’re lucky, you may get a credit — never a refund.

My first negative experience was when my driver was swapped three times and my order took nearly two hours to arrive; soggy and moist, ew. Complained, got no compensation, that was fine, maybe I’m just impatient. My most recent experience that happened today is what made me delete the app and never support it again. Allow me to begin. Despite the absurd pumped price, I decided to treat myself to Popeyes, I thought I deserved it after working 12 hours the entire week. As a teen with very low income, a $22 meal was costly, but my nieve self thought I deserved it. Wrong. I ordered a $17 chicken combo with FREE INCLUDED 8pc chicken nuggets, the only reason I got it was because of the included nuggets making me think it was worth it. The nuggets never came! I got the combo; including the sandwich fries and drink, the two sauces that came with the nuggets, and a SINGLE MEASLY NUGGET in the middle of the bag. I called the driver, contacted the store and uber app, ZERO compensation. I just wanted my nuggets and I got no “uber” cash, no apology, and no nuggets. Do better ☹️

DELETING THIS APP
Uber Eats is a waste of money. I’m deleting the app. Order never right it’s always cold. The quality of the food is so poor. You might as well go and get it yourself.

Overall, app is easy to use. However, there are routinely issues with orders and agents routinely just copy and paste responses and refuse to answer questions or process refunds. Usually have to talk to at least 2 people before issues are resolved.
Delivery prices
Delivery prices are way too high.
Do better
Uber gets over even with having a membership. They need better ways of resolving certain issues. It could improve in many ways.

New app upgrade is hopeless
Been using uber eats app for years. Loved it. Then an "upgrade" its incredibly slow, buggy, freezes, previous easy access to things gone. Bring back the previous version that actually so i can order something.

Trash customer service
As someone who has spent thousands and thousands on uber service, I’ll tell you firsthand that their customer service has gone down the drain from dropouts to automation to both. Pre-written generic replies and illogical refusal of refunds when 1000% in your favor. They’ll fight you for $0.5 and copy/paste responses without reading prompts. They’ll refuse to delete your account and it’ll often take 3-4 agents and escalations to resolve the smallest of issues. This is regardless if you’re subscribed to plus. There is no customer loyalty

Robbed my money!! And didn’t give it back
I ordered the food and I payed a lot didn’t get it all and it was really expensive and they didn’t even give it back!! They robbed my money and they told me they couldn’t resolve it I would recommend any other application then this! Really bad service billion dollar company and couldn’t even do this

The prices are sky rocketing.
The prices just keep increasing. And that’s sad. Sometimes I won’t order just because the fees and delivery be costing a whole another meal.
