Privacy concerns
Warning. Read the fine print. This gives your landlord the ability to save, store, and sell your financial information. I believe that if a landlord sells their tenants personal information when paying rent using their app, they should credit the tenants…. Not keep it.
You can opt out of them selling your information, but because of how I perceive they manage properties and communicate with tenants, I cannot trust them with sensitive info.

Needs to be redesigned and fixed
Logging in just takes me to the webpage to login and then back to the app.
Tried to put in a maintenance request and just get an error code.

I can never see my lease agreement. I go to the section and it just stays blank. I’ve had this for 2 years and it’s never worked.

The app asks me to login and redirects me to a web page, which cannot be opened and always shows error.

This app is absolutely horrible if I could give it less then one star I would. It does not work I cannot see my rent nor pay it I tried submitting a trouble ticket to fix this issue it was ignored
Absolute garbage
This app only works part of the time and there’s no easy way to figure out what you owe. The auto-pay doesn’t debit on the day you choose, the balance shown is never correct, and it’s impossible to speak with anyone over the phone.

App NOT dependable
When rent is due, app will not let you log in. Randomly stops working. Constantly down. Just use the webpage.
Glitchy
This app is extremely glitchy. I’ve had to uninstall it and reinstall several times.

App always crashes and if it doesn’t crash then it’s buggy. I always have a hard time with it. The only good thing about it is that when it works it’s easy to navigate. However, it is not informative AT ALL. You don’t know what you’re being charged or what’s credited to your account or what the amounts are for. Would never use UDR again.

Payments area needs improvement
When you go to pay there is no breakdown of everything you are being charged for. It is in your lease, however when you’re paying $2100 total and you can’t see what part is the water bill, other fees, or your rent, it’s concerning. I have to go to the office to get that information because you can’t speak to anyone unless you go in person or via text. (Good luck with a timely response.)

Can’t Log In
I shouldn’t even HAVE to log in every time I open the app, but I get it. Security. When they swapped from letting me put in my password that was saved, to using the biometrics, it was shoddy. It sent me to their website EVERY time to re-enable it. Now, it scans, succeeds, and doesnt leave the log in screen. I CAN’T get into the app now. I’m gonna have to go by my bank and get a check to pay rent.

Worst app for paying rent
Seriously have had issues form the beginning with this app. unfortunately I have to have it due to where I live. Wish we had another way to pay versus dealing with this stupid app
