Just checked a bag & now you say it could have been free.
I just checked a bag & paid $50 & immediately afterward you say it could’ve been free. Not cool.

Great experience as all employees were helpful friendly and courteous! Especially the counter staff and flight attendants!! Would highly recommend and glad I am switching my travel to United from Delta and American!
Checking in bags and your review section needs help
The check in bag system will not allow checking in special bags such as golf clubs or skis until you add 1 bag to check in 1st. When you’re adding only adding golf bags (not a checked bag and a golf bag) the system assumes that you have 2 bags instead on just 1 golf bag. You then have to edit the original check bag to 0 otherwise the system has you checking 2 bags.

Glitchy App
App kept trying to check off the “receive marketing messages” box when creating a new account, and would not allow me to complete the account creation. Then it started saying there was “no connection”, which wasn’t true. It also wouldn’t recognize my phone number because the area code was populated in parentheses. Amateur hour. Maybe I won’t fly United.

My Fave Airline Now!
I rarely fly anyone else and I love being a United mileage plus member. Appreciate the friendliness of the staff, the fact that even in the cheap seats the main meal food is nicely edible (not so much the pre landing bready breakfast though) I love the wine is nice, I love the upgrade choices which I quite often take advantage of, the lounges are lush… sometimes I book my layover longer just to hang out in the club lounge and have cocktails and nibbles and play on my computer. Really in love with United

The app is slow, it loads tons of days up front that doesn’t improve the experience. The chat bot is the worst thing I have experienced - it will cancel your reservation without approval. The app succeeds in lowering customer service standards at United
