This app is full of bugs on iPhone
Every time I try to select a date and then a flight the app has to reload. It is not an efficient use of time nor a good user experience.
If have 0 Stars would still give -5
I have stopped considering this carrier years ago following their news for travel policies encouraging me to not even remember their name
Unfortunately just realized that Sunwing uses them for flights which I regret booking with them
Application failed to check me in because they need a picture copy of the passport. Had to continue on computer but failed first time. Third time was successful but obviously since they are so cheap carrier was not able to find seats adjacent to each others for self and wife. Off course these type of carriers do not respect anyone or any culture like protecting my family from sitting next to foreigners
They must stop operating

Two factor authentication sucks
Cant even log in to my acc because of the stupid authentication. I dont even receive emails for the code. Like please take it off. Im tryna buy a ticket here
Soo frustrating and slow
This has to be the, if not one of the worst airline apps going. Get your act together Westjet! Your phone will go to sleep before the booking will finish. There seems to be no way to actually add or use seat selection vouchers without calling the help number. And there are so many add ons and useless upsell options that it is hard to find all the essential info. It will quite often push the actual confirm button partially off the screen. WestJet needs to put more focus in the plane and in the app on the customer and less on the upsell.

I am my way to pay my baggage but I couldn’t. Error keeps popping up. I dont want to call customer service

Bad business practices
WestJet has 0 customer service. On the chat inside the app they could not help me during their flexible flight change for the labour dispute. I also could not get the app to change my flight They are. Money hungry company. That don’t care about their employees or their customers.
Can’t sign in, no code sent to email
This app is fine when it works I guess but for a week now I can’t sign into my WestJet account on my new phone.
It asks when signing in to type in a code sent to my email, but the code never arrives. Today is 21 Jul 2026 and this has been happening to me since 14 Jul 2026. I hope WestJet can fix this so I can sign into my account to collect points.

Too many attempts
Garbage airline. Tried to book a flight kept saying seats are not available and then too many attempts. Wtf. Ok cool ill book with AC. Byeee
Incorrect check-in notification
I changed my flight to be a day later. Can you guys NOT give me a heart attack by sending an early check-in notification for the incorrect former flight? Jesus Christ.
Great App!!!
Great app!!! Don’t listen to the one and two star reviews. The app works great and it’s easy to book flights. The only bug I would say there is is that there’s a problem when I click the “Get Flights” button. It brings me to the r loading screen and just freezes. But on a scale of one to ten for how often that happens it’s like a 4. And it doesn’t happen in my laptop. My problem might just be my phone.

Flight map doesn’t always work. Went an entire flight with it saying I was on the ground…
Deceiving
Be careful using this app when checking in for a flight because it will suggest paying for things that you have already bought or have for free. For example, I have the WestJet rewards card, but it asks me to pay for my first check bag when checking in. It also prompts me to buy a seat even when I have already paid for an upgraded one. Come on Westjet, you can treat your customers better

2FA Set-up is too slow
Tried to log in to the app to retrieve my Westjet number and it took more than 3 minutes to go through the PIN code verification process.
Seriously frustrating, inconvenient and unacceptable by today’s standards.

Constant sign in issues
New update is brutal. I had to sign in 6 times throughout trying to find flights. Also it would be good to be able to apply the companion voucher in app.
App doesn’t work
The app doesn’t seem to work when you try to book a flight. I have entered all my information and then when I press get flight, it starts buffering and doesn’t stop.
Useless app
So useless, can’t even upload my passport it keep saying wrong document
