The worst programmed apps out there
Update: Sold all our crap Whirlpool appliances and bought GE. Like another world! // We are furious that you have deprecated our smart washer and dryer and move them into a separate app from the whirlpool app we use to control our Whirlpool dishwasher. We now have to use two separate apps to control three whirlpool devices. There’s nothing “smart” about that. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Put them back in the same app!

No QR code scanning functionality
I spent over an hour trying to figure out how to add my Whirlpool appliance. The app does not offer a way to scan a QR code just like the instructions on the web say. I can’t even open the QR code from the web either. I am frustrated that you all wasted my time! Please fix this!!!
No notifications… (again)
I have everything set correctly, the app was giving notifications just fine until last night. I called your support and they said delete app wait 15 minutes reinstall and will be working correctly. I reinstalled enabled notifications… and no notifications. This is very frustrating. Please fix this!!!!! I have the settings in the app on to notify me with cycle completion and can see the washer and dryer times and what’s going on. So it’s not my phone or machines.

Whirlpool failed on this one
In order to update my oven, Whirlpool requires me to download this app. The oven produced a QR code, which must be scanned from within this app, in order to connect.
Problem one: the app doesn't have the option to connect to my device's camera.
Problem two: When I scanned the QR code through my camera (not through the app), I eas taken to the LinkedIn profile for a Said Farhat.
Problem three: In order to add my oven to my profile on the app, it must connect to it. Whirlpool's web site has clear instructions, however, it requires the app to scan-to-connect. There's a catch 22 issue here, and no option to add the oven manually. The web does offer manual entry instructions, but the app doesn't seem to have a way to manually enter the given codes.
Whirlpool failed on this one, but hopefully they can find a developer that can fix this abysmal tool.

Broken app
Just junked a nearly new refrigerator from Whirlpool after trying for 1 1/2 years to get it repaired. Now this app is broken and can no longer connect my washer and dryer. Never will buy another Whirlpool appliance.
