International SMS Requirement Makes NRI Signup Difficult
The app registers by sending an SMS from your phone to an Indian number. If you don’t have an international SMS plan, you won’t be able to use it. I’m not sure why they’re marketing it to NRIs when it requires sending an international SMS.
Nobody cares to respond to the emails sent to YONO email support
Can’t register as there’s only one way to register is to send SMS from phone
Can’t pay loan through the new app
I have been trying to pay my education loan through the app but I can see the loan account in the payee section but it doesn’t do anything
Trapped in a forced update loop – Pathetic validation
The latest update makes the YONO app completely incompatible with iOS versions below 17.0. As an iPhone X user, I am locked out entirely. Even if you manage to install a previously compatible version, the app immediately forces a hard stop and demands an update to the latest version—which my phone physically cannot download.
If you are going to drop support for older iOS versions, at least allow legacy versions to continue functioning for essential banking needs, rather than creating a broken, looping user experience. Pathetic validation and terrible customer experience for long-time users.

Dear User, this change is to enhance security and performance. Older OS versions lack the latest updates, leaving users vulnerable, especially with financial data. By restricting outdated OS versions, YONO ensures a platform that meets current security standards. Please access banking at www.onlinesbi.sbi with your userID n password
Sloppy App
Very sloppy by SBI. The earlier version of the website was much more robust and so much more functionality in terms of the services one could complete online. In a rush to move to the new version, SBI has chosen to completely ignore all of the functionality and put together a new version that looks pretty but lacks many of the earlier online features. With India as a growing economy with so much of tech capability available, it’s lousy when compared to apps of leading financial institutions in the West. Is this all SBI is capable of? Example - App doesn’t work if you are on WiFi in Aeroplane mode - seriously? As long as Face ID and two factor authentication works, does SBI think that blocking usage access with no cellular signal actually improves security? SBI’s leadership team should be ashamed of itself
