Good but bugs
I was playing a campaign game, down to one card left in the devils hand and as I was about to win this game, but devils hand card could not be moved blocking me from winning the game. One card was left in the dark and I could not play that card either. The game just simply locked up! I tried restarting but to no avail. This is the first time this is happened and I have been playing this game for two years. The card format has changed since yesterday and now it’s hard to read the cards because of the font selection. My score no longer appears on the screen either.
I hope there is something that the designer can do to fix this problem because it’s very aggravating to play when a problem like this pops up.Show lessabc-bruiser
Please bring the old card faces back as an option!
I have loved the game and played it constantly as my go to in between game for ages. But the update has broken it for me. I can no longer tell what cards are behind the top card on the board! Using the larger card typefaces I can’t see easily if I have a run going in a particular stack (no idea what the real words are); the smaller type faces are very difficult for me to look at long term - too tiring to be enjoyable. I was fine with the old cards at least on my iPad where I always played it. No idea if this is better for the iPhone (it may well be), but couldn’t we have the old cards as an option?
If not, I am afraid I will have to give up the game, sigh...Show lessgswlsw
Addictive, but sloppy software
I am both addicted to this game and frustrated by sloppy design and frequent rotation issues/crashes (on iPad running latest iOS). So I was very glad to see a new release this am. I downloaded and applied the latest release and eagerly began play, only to find that the 1) the new deck is ugly, and 2) cards stack so close together on each other that you can’t see what you’re doing to play the game.
The new release is unplayable. Have you guys ever heard of user acceptance testing?
Btw, as someone who’s been through all 500 deals multiple times, it would be nice to be able to see both my best score on a deal and also my current/latest, and it would be nice to see that both in the deal and campaign screens. And frankly, making us pay so much for undos and hints is really greedy and just plain insulting.Show lessShopper99$
Update
Great game before update on my iPad. Cards are now so squashed together in the down rows that it is difficult to see what you can move. I have also lost many of the games that I previously won particularly games 1 to 25 where they are all gone. Also previous scores no longer visible. If not fixed I will regrettably no longer play it.Show lessGrazza6
Almost perfect until the size of numbers on cards changed today
I have played this game regularly for a couple of years. Challenging and lots of fun in spite of a few glitches so 4.5 stars from me...until today. For some unknown reason, today the Churchill Solitaire gods decided to change the size of the numbers on the cards. Now it is just so annoying that I'm gonna have to find a new fav game to play on my iPad. The two new card number/suit size choices are either so large that the numbers are half-way covered by each subsequent card card placed on top (which makes it almost impossible to strategize because you can only see the top half of any number that's not a top card) OR just so tiny that it's hard to even distinguish the suit from a normal distance. What the heck?!?!? This game just went from fun to forgettable in a heartbeat!Show lessLiberty324

Well... for all of us still using (and very much enjoying) the smaller IPhones (5, SE etc.) the latest upgrade made this game worse than it was. 1. Text is WAY to small to see without using glasses or magnifying glass. 2. Playing in horizontal mode, cards can’t be moved from far left or right side to opposite far side, screen doesn’t seem to be large enough, cards fall behind finger sliding across screen... 3. Game score is no longer easy to find/see, now you have to pull up menu below, and again, text/numbers are WAY WAY WAY too small to read with the naked eye.
Just had my 102nd game win yesterday, and that’ll be it for now, latest update screwed up a good game for all of us who enjoy smaller IPhones, and aging eyes...Show lessMartinonMaui

Screen orientation issues iPhone
How can you ruin such a good game by not sorting out your screen orientation properly, screen locking my phone wouldn’t even override this! It should be a basic concept and since I have completed 6 games I can’t move this to my iPad as they won’t carry across! 5 stars if you can fix this properly...Show lessreviewer201808
Excellent--but with a bug
Love the game. I've got a Peacemaker ranking with over 500 wins, but...
Occasionally there will be a legal play that is rejected. Normally quitting and restarting the game will fix it and let you continue, but today I ran into the ultimate glitch. I have a game which is won, except that it won't let me play the nine of clubs onto the eight of clubs. I've tried restarting the app; didn't help. I've tried quitting the app, restarting the iPad, and restarting the app; didn't help. I even crossed my fingers, deleted the app and downloaded it again. To my relief, everything was restored, but I still can't make the play to win the game. I even used a hint, and it showed me the play that keeps getting rejected. Arggghhhhh!!!!!
I just noticed something else about the stuck game (I took screen shots): all of the cards are visible -- I mentioned that it was a won game -- and the other eight of clubs is missing, along with the other nine of clubs. All other cards are there and ready to be played but even if I were able to play my nine of clubs on the eight I would still be stuck because there would be no way to get past the other seven of clubs. I literally can’t play
I go into a game after reaching the second rank, and it won’t let me put anything in the victory rows. Apart from that though, it’s an amazing game. I would give it 5 stars, but until the bug is fixed I’ll have to give it 2.gerfiljicklstan
