I’m on Day 3 and I’m seeing a big difference in my children. They can’t get on their phones until summer reading and cleaning their rooms are both done(they earn an extra hour when completed). I also pause them when meals are ready. Very helpful in restoring order in my home. My children are 8 and 11. Glad I’m doing it now bc it would have only gotten worse!

  • Great app but has a glitch

We loved this app and had it for a year. However my daughter found a glitch. She hits the button on her iPad several times until it turns her apps on and renders the app ineffective.

Hi Lauren, thanks for reaching out. Which button on the iPad that she hit that rendered the app ineffective? Could you please provide more detail about that through support@screentimelabs.com so we can look into it further? Thank you.
  • Don’t download

It has deleted all my daughters apps even when we restore them it continues to delete. It doesn’t work for IPhones 13-16 os. Even when you download their “fix it “ app
  • Please contact me!!!

I Downloaded this app, set everything up, even paid for the extra stuff. It worked great during the trial but after that it logged me out and now it will not recognize my email to allow me to log back in and change settings. I am very unhappy with the app and their service department. Please contact me ASAP so I can delete this app.

  • Not good for iPhone devices

This is app doesn’t work well with iPhone. My child has an iPhone and the app always shows offline or 0 mins used even when he is on his phone. It will block certain apps during bedtime but I cannot set which app to block, it’s an all or nothing type of deal. The worse part is that they don’t have a monthly plan, so I paid for the whole year upfront and now I’m stuck with an app that doesn’t do what it claims to do. If your child has an iPhone, research other apps.

Hi Marleymar, we're sorry to hear about your experience with the app. We have some problems with daily limit on iOS platform at the moment. The team is looking into it and we'll do our best to get it resolved as soon as possible. We have information about inability to block specific apps on Apple devices https://screentimelabs.com/pricing/ and we do have a monthly plan. Should you need further assistance, please contact us directly at support@screentimelabs.com. Thank you.
  • Can’t rate it zero so ⟟ have to rate it ⏃ one

If ⟟ could rate it, it would be in the negatives, just like how ⟟ would rate my ex. ⟟ LOVE the fact that as soon as I get on an app after playing ⏃ game for thirty minutes it tells me that I’ve run out of time.
  • TERRIBLE..

as a child user of the app it randomly locks out all apps whether the parental figure has paused the time or not. my mom has never paused my time yet my apps lock out and glitch . my phone is stuck without the apps right now because i accidentally deleted the app from my home screen now i can access it or anything.

  • Beware!

What a nightmare!! Erased apps, locked my kids phone for no reason and gave me zero information about what apps they’re using. No ability to restrict access to a specific app. Huge waste of time and money!!! Still trying to get it off our phones- might need to factory reset! Awful!!!

    Developer Response

When your child swiped close the app then we blocked the device automatically by removing apps from the screen. Please contact support@screentimelabs.com for further instructions on how to bring the apps back. Thank you.
  • It’s been working well for me for several years

I got this a while ago because my kids wanted to use their fire tablets outside of kids mode. It’s honestly worked really well with few problems on their tablets. It’s not much for “real time” but I’m able to see day to day usage, block the tablet and really caps the time on there for my kids. It’s not easy to turn off from the kids devices. The workaround I found was to change the setting on my phone and then have them reboot, works every time.
