  • Several issues need to be fixed.

Login forgets email despite settings selected to remember.
No options for saving the passwords so you have to reset it constantly off you’re not traveling often.
Trips often don’t synchronize despite booking through DTS. No rhyme or reason, just not showing up & no way to add by locator number.
    Just a frustrating app.

  • Great App

This is awesome. It really is a solid app and one the government didn’t just absolutely tank and make it break your phone.

One thing though - it would be extremely handy if you could check in on the app, and it would sync automatically to the airliner. Instead of opening a new window and cycling through the website

  • Receive notifications but have to log in every time.

I’m actually traveling today. Every time I receive a notification, then I have to manually type in the lengthy email address and password. When I was mid flight, I received a notification, but could not open the app. Had to wait upon landing, type everything in again, and see my flight updates.
If this linked to biometrics like other apps, then I would rate it 5 stars.
You also have to log back in if you haven’t been on the app for a few hours.

  • Overall good app but logging in takes it from great to good

I like most parts of the application: can update you on flights changes and get your boarding pass easily. But I don’t like that it always requires me to put in my entire logon or password and won’t save it. honestly sometimes I copy and paste my password from my password app and it won’t take it even though it’s exactly the same. Has odd authentication behavior

  • Travel coordination

I’ve just started using this APP. So it’s a little early to form an educated opinion on the functionality of it. I do like what I’ve seen for now. I like being able to coordinate the different travel schedules so I know what to expect and where I need to be. I like being able to email my itinerary into the app and have it added to my schedule automatically. Having this level of planning capability readily available is a valuable thing to have!

  • OVERALL A GREAT IMPROVEMENT FOR GOVERNMENT TRAVEL

The use of this app is overall very helpful.
It needs work, though. The password issue is significant, especially you log in while in transit because you flight has been delayed or canceled, to find a prompt to update your password. This is the last thing anyone should have to deal with while in transit. If my connection has been canceled, please allow me the option to pick my alternate flight. Not just automatically re-route to nearest airport. This caused so many more issues.
Last, just an opinion. Personnel on official travel are on uncle sam’s dime. Uncle Sam being the American tax payer. We’re always scrutinizing how to appropriately allocate every dime. But it’s absolutely ok to strand 20 active duty personnel in Chicago (for example). Lodging rate $218 a day. Per diem $75 a day, or combined $293 a person per day. That’s over $5800 a day being wasted. There has to be a way of coding personnel on official travel as priority. Oh, and as a closing statement, to benefit of the government. Maybe review airports and figure which ones have issues, like Chicago O’Hare (ORD) and avoid those airports as much as possible. To answer you question, Yes, I’ve been stuck in Chicago more than once for several hours. This most recent adventure, all of our connecting flights were canceled. Now stranded in Chicago for day 2.

  • Needs some work

Check In feature is not user friendly. If I’m checking in for a flight it is assumed im checking in for the flight in My Trips. Why would I need to search for another flight?

Login needs to have a Face ID option. The login is delayed because it seems like it is connecting to a third party.
  • Not Helpful

Love the idea. The execution needs work. Writing in hopes it gets improved.

Biggest things is that nothing is internal to the app. It is essentially just a link to the website and makes you log in every time. Seeing the data on travel is nice but there is no way to request changes to flights or lodging internal to the app. I still have to call and remain on a hold to wait for a counselor. I have been on hold for the past 30 minutes waiting to request a change.

  • Limited usefulness

I found the app to be overly basic, lacking many functions I would expect from a travel app. I am having issues receiving itineraries from SATO travel when I call on the phone. Even with a record locator number I have no way of finding my reservation on the app or the website.
  • So bad only the government could’ve put it together

Like everyone else, being forced to login to an external website EVERY SINGLE TIME you open the app is ridiculous. If you change to another app, log in again. If the screen dims, log in again. Ludicrous. There’s no PII, no credit card information. Just typical heavy handed (and ineffective) red tape. There really needs to be warning on this app - it will waste a lot more time than the very small benefit it may provide. Use the airline and hotel apps; even using multiple apps will be faster and more helpful than fighting this piece of crap.
