It’s Great, But...
My family enjoys giving la Madeleine gift cards for Christmas and birthdays. I wish there was a way to add the non-electronic gift card value to the app as a payment option like I can with other restaurant apps. The only card option I have with the la Madeleine app is to add a debit or credit card. Surely, since other restaurant app are able to handle gift card values, la Madeleine can manage that upgrade as well.

Service is great but app was poorly design
The food and service is great. Thumbs up to that. However app is poorly design:
1. Fonts are too small and difficult for an older person to read
2. You can reload previous order which is good. However you are then only allowed to remove and edit items. There’s not an obvious way to add items. It’s supposed to help to expedite ordering but the net result is wasting me more time. I had to remove all items one by one and start all over as a new order.

I just wanted to express my gratitude to a staff that has continued to uphold their attention to customers and courtesy, during this unfortunate time of Covid. The food is always great, but it’s better when served with a friendly smile underneath the mask! 😷

Food is amazing, app is not
Let me start by saying we love La Madelines. Great food. Great service. Ordering a lot more online these days with the pandemic and we’ve run into problems.
Here are my main problems with this app:
1) You can’t use gift cards on the app
2) Every time I go to order it says “original order time not available” then won’t let me pick a new time. Makes me CLEAR my cart and reorder everything.
3) Special instructions are limited characters so half the time we can’t ask for what we want
4) Has crashed on me several times with ordering.
I wouldn’t be as harsh if there weren’t other places out there with way better functioning applications. Guess we’ll stick with just walking in and ordering like the old fashion days, haha.

App is buggy but food is great!
Love La Madeleine’s food! Their app is another story. I get error messages when trying to order food”Asap” or when I place the order (but eventually the order goes through). Would recommend some upgrades to the app, but keep up the great work when it comes to the food!
Good food but not enough
My husband doesn't really like eating here because he's hungry again in a short while. Especially the sandwiches and dinners.
PLEASE FIX THE ORDER TIME
My god this app is frustrating. It says to change the order time, so I scroll to a different time and click, but then there's no response at all. I close the order time window since there's no save changes button anywhere in sight, and I'm back to the original time. Lather, rinse, repeat endlessly, until I give up and order from a different restaurant. I've given up twice in the past couple of weeks and spent my money elsewhere. Unless you're trying to lose a LOT of pickup business right now, make this app usable.

Great food and great customer service
The food is always amazing, fresh, and delicious. The customer service is friendly, helpful, and polite. The app is the cherry on top because it makes it so easy to enjoy the food even when you do not have the time to stay and eat at the restaurant.

Like it. Really easy to use. Only complaint is the special instructions area is very limited in number of characters so it’s hard to put in special instructions. I’ve gotten really good with abbreviations.

Over the past week or two, however, the quality of the croissants has deteriorated dramatically. They’re now flat, doughy, and frankly not much different from the “croissants” one gets at Starbucks. What happened?
