What this app really needs
What would be really helpful & awesome, is if there was a alarm that would go off if your door was open for a extended period of time… maybe something you could disable if you are working in the garage. But can be turned on, so you could be notified if the door(s) are left opened.
Then it would be a 5 star app.

Worthless App
App will not connect to Wi-Fi after multiple attempts. Had I known about this problem, I would never have purchased an Overhead door opener. Having the ability to open the garage door via a cellphone would be very convenient. Unfortunately, OHD has not perfected the technology to allow this to happen. I have numerous smart plugs, smart lights and smart speakers all over my house with no connection problems. I can only assume that OHD does not understand how all this works.Show lessCrm1957
Great App
Allows for secure access remotely and locally. I use it more than the hand held remotes. Convenient, safe and reliable. Love the fact that I can easily tell if i’ve forgotten to close my garage doors.Ramjet
Nice app, does what it is supposed to do
Had some initial challenges to configure because my wifi router works on 5.4 ghz band and this needs 2.4 ghz band , once that issue is resolved it works seamlesslyCrappy and Useless iPhone

16.5.1 Update
Two days ago I updated my phone to iOS 16.5.1. On of my two sons did as well. The son who did not update his phone can still access the app, open and close the garage door. I can’t, and neither can my other son. We ONLY use our phones to get in and out of the house. Please fix ASAP so we can go back to LOVING the OHD app!Show lessAnchorServices

Apple car play.
Not supported by Apple CarPlay, please fix this. It’s a major reason I went w the opener I did- hoping to use it when on 2 wheels, also the lag from time requested to operation oils use some fine tweaking . Otherwise. Neat app.

Frustrated
The whole point of me having this app is so that I can use it to open my garage door without having to carry around my clicker or a house key.
This is nice when I go for a run and don’t have to carry extra things with me, and I thought I wouldn’t have to have a hide a key somewhere just in case, but twice now, I’ve come home from a run and have been stranded by this app. I get a spinny circle, then a message saying “check back in 30 minutes”. Seriously?
This makes me not trust the app, and I’m really disappointed, because what was the point of spending $$$$$ money on a new OHD with all of the bells and whistles only to not be able to trust it?Show lessRubberDuck1112
Handy App
The app works well. We had it for several years. Connected to Siri I can open the door hands free when I’m coming back from a bike ride.hendoda
