Makes things Easy
so inept at it that I often would skip the opportunity...Until Slatable came along! Thank you for making it so easy that someone like me who has such a difficult time with technology in general can use it...you thought of everything! Every step is explained and the product is so Professional & exactly the parameters & guidelines that casting wants from us. Honestly, it’s a huge Relief not having to worry about that part of things so I can focus on the actual work! No more missed Opportunities! Thank you!

Love this app
I audition a bunch during the week and this makes my life so much easier. It's super easy to use and I don't have to spend extra time setting it up. My agent is super happy with app and is telling everyone on her roster about it. Thanks Slatable!

Fix audio please!

Please contact us at support@slatable.com and we'd be happy to get you up and running! It sounds like you're running iOS 12 but please also update the app to the latest version. You can also adjust the volume on the device itself which can help with the volume of the recorded audio.
Not compiling! Second time this app has failed me
This app is super unreliable- oh just shoot and compile your videos and send away/ does not happen. This app needs to be airtight for all versions of updates iOS. I almost missed a last minute call due to this app for the SECOND time. I shot the entire video and thinking -cool all done just edit and compile. Does not export nor does it compile the videos. I will NEVER recommend this app to anyone for fear the same thing will happen to them and they will hate me as much as I hate that I chose to use this app ever. Had to reshoot the entire thing NOT using the app. Junk!
Needs to fix the bugs
I would have no problem with the relatively high cost for an app if it worked and saved me time to edit everything on my phone. unfortunately in the end it took just as long as it would have had I uploaded my videos to my computer and edited there. After paying I’m disappointed.
Issues I encountered:
- it wouldn’t save my trims. I would edit my video in the app, hit save and the trims wouldn’t be saved when I compiled my video. I ended up having to edit my videos and then add them to the app.
- videos kept playing after I closed them.
- the app would glitch and close
- won’t let you make 2 tapes with the same production title, this was very frustrating as I was auditioning for 2 different parts in the same project. Even with different character names it wouldn’t allow it.
- I couldn’t access my favourites album only my videos album (as I shot all the takes before getting the app and had marked them that way to know which ones I wanted more easily, this was frustrating.)
- once the video was compiled I found it lagged ever so slightly
The title page (if it allows you to put the proper name of the project) looks very professional and if they work out the bugs the app has the potential of being an incredibly useful tool especially on the go. Unfortunately for the high cost for the upgrade right now I’m very disappointed. We’re actors and artists, a lot of us are financially struggling and paying fees and dues left right and centre before we even get to work, if you’re going to charge that much, it better work and make our lives easier.
