Same problem… app stopped working and I cannot install or uninstall GDO and will not connect to WiFi. Customer service - months ago - said they were working on it… seems not.Chowdher
6 years of success and now failure
Well, this app has been useful, it has been clunky since day one. The user interface does not operate as you would expect from such a large company.
In the last few weeks, the garage door opener has not been able to connect to Wi-Fi. I have tried to connect it multiple times and no success. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and still no success.
Starting today, I am not even able to log into the app. It appears as though all support for this app has ceased. without being able to login to the app, or connect the garage door openers to Wi-Fi, they are essentially no better than a 1960s craftsman garage door opener.
I bought these garage door openers specifically because they have Wi-Fi capability. The lack of support is extremely frustrating.Show lesst.c.d.

App stopped working completely. Cant reconnect to wifi. Tried for hour to fix but gave up. Sad part is most people will buy the opener and install before realizing that the app is useless. Will not buy another ryobi product after my experience with this product. 0 starsK3ll35
Stuck
So after approximately 6 years of the GDO app working other than the occasional glitches and down days, it has now quit, I have tried for weeks to reinstall my garage door openers (3) and they won’t connect to wifi. The app has the option to remove them, yet it now doesn’t respond when I click the 3 dots at top right to get to that option. No response from ryobi customer service on this app. And no response from this developer. So now I have three bricks installed in my garage ceiling. The openers work with the remotes but the app is useless now.Show lessBelzebop
