Wow!
I’ve heard about HoneyBook from other photographers, and I’m so glad I tried it out for myself! I’m just starting out, but I have loved it so far. Easy to use, so many templates, and it even helps you find opportunities near you. The only thing I wish it had was a way to view templates you are sending to your clients as mobile versions, because I mostly work on my laptop and most of my clients view it on their phones. Other than that, this app is amazing and I love it!

Working pretty good
Pretty good app, keeps me very organized but there is defiantly phone blips that I wish could be avoided ie: deleting drafts!

Not a transparent app!!
Beware! Before making you aware, before you even set up your bank account, this app automatically allows for clients to pay through HoneyBook, takes off fees, and holds your money until your account it set up. Before you even set up your bank account, and without telling you, they will accept payment from your client, and hold your money! I sent myself a test invoice to ensure that no payment option was included, as I hadn’t set that up, and did not plan to, and the test email looked good, there was no option to pay.
There is NO information in the initial on boarding, in any of the tutorials I watched that the payment option is an automatic feature. No other invoicing software or payment processors I’ve worked with opt you in to this service without informing the user first. There was no information given up front that shared the processing fees HB takes.
When I chatted with a rep today, she merely said that she was sorry for the confusion and that they recommend sitting in on a scheduled webinar.
When it comes to MONEY the user should not have to seek out critical information, it should be available up front and clearly communicated at the beginning.
I was shocked when I sent a large invoice to a client, and got notification not only that my client had paid them through a portal I had not set up, but that I couldn’t access my money until I set up my bank account! What if I needed that money for bills? I just can’t believe the lack of transparency!! HB has $1200 of MY hard earned dollars!!
The rep I spoke to had no solutions other than to refund my client, which paints my company in a poor, disorganized light. We want to secure further work from this client, so my only choice is to take the processing fee loss and wait until my bank account is linked. This is what it is, the issue is that they aren’t up front with this critical information.
Lastly, ITS NOT POSSIBLE TO UNLINK THE PAYMENT OPTION FROM INVOICES. Where is that information you front??? Users must use a different invoicing software if they don’t want to accept their processing fees.
I feel very frustrated and disappointed in the lack of honesty and transparency within this company surrounding such a critical component of entrepreneurship. When it comes to money, there should be NO surprises!!

This is a lifesaver
Honeybook has been a lifesaver for my business and my state of mind! I am able to achieve so much more in an intuitive & simple fashion. I feel in control and my clients appreciate that I am walking them through all the steps & anticipating their questions. App is a continuation of the service and it’s everything I need on the go! I’ve just discovered the “Breathe” button and OMG I am so thankful to you guys! I feel very well taken care of.

Perfect for Video Production
This has turned my extremely chaotic business scheduling into an organized one. There are tons of contracts, talent releases, proposals and even package and service templates available. They are fully customizable to you liking. Merge your google calendar's, QuickBooks and previous clients into one place. Now our schedule is available by a link for other potential clients who may be nervous to make a phone call. Just hit “book now” and a new lead is booked with you. The process is easier for both our business and our clients. Also, really digging the ability to keep all our PDF documents, logos and custom thumbnails for our inventory. Everything is custom yet very professional. Thanks HoneyBook! Very happy with the investment.

This is what I am looking for but...
I was looking for a CRM that would handle everything without breaking the bank, and I think I've found it. So far, it has a lot of potential but there are inconsistencies between the web app and the mobile app that make me want to pull my hair out!
The web app allows you to start a project with a project name. Then you add the client. The mobile app ask for the client first AND there is no drop down or search facility like the web app to select someone already in you list. You have to enter the client name and have to know their email. Also, you can't go to a client in your list and select them for a new project like the web app.
There are lots more inconsistencies and things that just don't quite work correctly.
I've mentioned these to actual people but thus far nothing in the mobile app has really changed. Right now, I just use the web app in my browser on my phone.

Doesn’t always work...
After using the app for years I feel it’s time to give it a review! It’s great for basic info for examples what projects you have in your pipeline but if you are need of looking at a files, more times than not they never open. I find I am always having to leave the app and find a desktop to work within HB. Definitely, not something you can depend on on the go. I typically have to prepare in advance by screen shooting info if I am going to be with a client on the go.

Makes Things Easier.
I have really grown to love HoneyBook. It makes running the business a lot easier. The templates for things such as contracts and proposals are very helpful, especially if you’re just starting out.
I do wish that there was a way to customize your account more. Like change themes or add colors. Also, I feel like with the scheduling, clients should have the ability to choose multiple dates and times at once instead of having to book a new date and time individually.

Customer Service
I find the customer service to be garbage. When you need help you’ll send a message like a text. They’ll reply in a day or two. Hopefully they nail the reply. If they don’t you’ll wait a couple more days for clarification. I’ve been trying to sort out a problem for over a week. We’ve gone back and fourth at least 3x. They don’t really ask for clarification and they keep replying. They don’t seem to understand he problem. I keep asking for help. Don’t try calling. There is no way to talk to anyone for quick clarification.
