Calm amid life’s storms
I purchased this app during an especially turbulent time in my work as a school administrator. The meditative nature of the prayers brought me back to a calm, focused center. Back to myself really, as my anxiety was relieved. Reading the prayers helped me see more clearly, that my trials & failings are just like everyone else’s. So comforting & just what I needed.
Also, I recently had a technical issue with the app. Jesse responded within 12 hours in an email. The response helped me fix the issue immediately AND was one of the most gracious, grateful responses ever. Another reason to love this app! Thanks Liz & Jesse ❤️Show lessCincy Señora
A place of peace, every day, in my pocket
I have been using this App for over 3 years and It’s probably the most consistent thing I’ve had at some really inconsistent and chaotic times in my life. I’ve made using this app a part of my routine and it truly keeps me going. The devotional delivers wonderful and the consistency in the visuals and messages are so incredible. I often think that I couldn’t relate to a devotional more but then I read the next one and I’m hooked all over again.
The visuals are absolutely beautiful and I often share them and always rotate though them as my phone background. It’s great because my friends and I all have it and we I’ll often read the devo and talk or text each other about it. It’s like bible study.
I truly can’t say enough good things about this medium for Gods word. I am so happy that A dear friend told me about it years ago and I couldnt imagine my daily routine without it.Show lesscharles9102

For me, this is more than an app. The devotionals on this app, the Instagram posts, the vulnerability of those who contribute; is something very counter cultural and speaks a different story to that of the world.
Pocket Fuel challenges a negative, apathetic world to look after themselves and to develop a positive mindset that will transform their life for good. I love this app and I love what it stands for. It is changing the culture and is well worth investing in.

Best Part of My Morning Routine!
I am a mom of two little kids, and I had been struggling to find a devotional that I related to and that was easy to incorporate into my daily life. Everything I had found was either flowery and unrealistic or required more attention than I could give it in my 5 stolen minutes of free time. This app is exactly what I’d been searching for: the writing is insightful, fresh, and deep, but not so dense that I don’t feel able to quickly apply it to my life. The interface is beautiful and easy to read, and the daily reminder notification reminds me to slow down and take a moment to rest my mind and point it to God. I love it so much that I purchased the first volume of the book, and hope to purchase the second soon. An app I look forward to opening every morning!
I’ve been looking for a devotional that isn’t too long but is still full of meaning and hope and I finally found it in this app. The messages are so inspiring and uplifting and I have never needed this more than now. Liz and the guests she features encourage you to keep embracing life and finding god in peace and love, no matter what wonderful or horrible things are happening in the world. This app has helped ground me and shape my view of god from being a law enforcer to an entity of peace and love and forgiveness. Not very Christ centered
I was excited to download a daily devo app and even paid for the year subscription but have been disappointed with the readings. They are very inspiring and feel good but I would not categorize as Christian devotionals. Some barely mention scripture and there’s an underlying message of self fulfillment vs reliance on Christ. I am also disappointed that even paying $13 a year for access to daily devos, I cannot access all the archives without paying additional.Show lessJaybaus
Practice
Growth until the Grave. It’s something I’ve come to realize is a necessity in all areas of my life especially in my faith and spirituality. It’s not about religion. And when the words “Daily Devotional” are used a feeling of religiosity can emerge.
The Pocket Fuel reads do not elicit that feeling.
These words are always thoughtful and thought provoking, in the way that they ask you to search your soul, own your belief and do the work of growing your own personal faith. It’s a great component to any spiritual practice.
The offerings are often timely and relevant to me, which is the daily reminder that I need about how God sees me and I can trust Him. And that is powerful.

Truly caught me by surprise, in the best way possible.
To be honest, I am no strict follower of Christ, I didn’t grow up in a family who put faith first, nor did I prioritize it myself. Over the years i’ve been trying to find meaning, to life itself and the circumstances that come with it. I found myself connecting to little excerpts from instagram pages and philosophical books and decided to give this app a try. It is no exaggeration that almost every day, I read what seems like exactly what I need to hear. My only advice is go through the trial, become vulnerable to the messages and I really think you’ll find yourself surprised by how invested you become into this app. 10/10 for me, love every bit of it and will continue to use it for a long long while!Show less@kaylabomben

This app is gold. In a world of bells and whistles, flashy, high tech graphics, this is extremely user friendly. Easy on the eyes and mind, especially early mornings when I’m not quite ready to take in the noise of this world.
The beginning nugget of truth begs you to go deeper into the devotional reading, which is so simple, yet so profound. Words that are down to earth and heartfelt, rather than robotic or preachy.
I especially appreciate the use of the variety of versions of scripture references out there, such as The Passion Translation and The Message.
This app has my heart, especially as we approach the next wild decade. I already see it as one of my daily trustworthy sources of Word from my Father. ❣️Show lessJenn Ran
