Doesn’t work
The app is extremely slow and laggy and no amount of playing with it with let me view my recordings or download them. I keep getting an error whenever I try.
The only thing this is good for is helping set up the rearview since you can use the live view. For some reason, live view only works when I use airplane mode. Insanity. This app is a joke.Show lessDéprimé

Works fine
I don’t know why this app has such bad reviews. I don’t think it’s that bad. I had the cam professionally installed and it works great. I downloaded the app and immediately I was able to use it for first time set up of all my settings and even downloaded a couple videos over the cam’s Wi-Fi. Worked just fine!! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the app UI could be a little more attractive but it works fine.Show lessgingivitis81
Solve the problem of how to use this app
For those who have a problem with this app and can't watch video or connection issues while watches videos on dashcam, this is how to fix it connecting "your phone with dashcam wifi first then turn on airplane mode on your phone" this is important make sure your phone into airplane mode while connecting with dashcam wifi now you can enjoy your video footage on your phone without any problems or bufferingShow lessWilliam Nguyen94
Sub par customer service
Have the VIOFO a129 pro and it the front camera has worked for over a year. However the back camera has always been intermittent. It finally wouldn’t work so I bought a new one from VIOFO and then it promptly stopped too. Customer service wanted another $30 plus I had to pay shipping to them. I can’t justify it. They want to squeeze every little drop out of their customers so I told them I’m going to write bad reviews and not recommend their products anymore.
Oh and the app doesn’t let you connect very well. If you’re sitting still in front of your house on good cell and wifi it takes around 7 min to connect since it gets confused and restarts the process. I just end up taking out the school card and going to my computer when I need footage. Not worth using the appShow lesstre-flip
Won't connect or stay connected to the app
This is ridiculous and a complete waste of time. The phone is connected to the dashcam's wifi and it wouldn't register in the app. It just keeps on saying to connect the camera
I've been wasting already am hour, trying to connect this idiotic dashcam to the app in order to figure how to fix why my rear camera is not working after I got a new cable. Pathetic. Do not buy their products as this is the service. A waste of time and moneyShow lessDidi Grooves
Constantly crashes
Uses a119 mini , enter setting and it crashes the app. Obviously nobody bothered to test these. returning dash cam because this is useless.Johnw1001
Hard to navigate
Had this now for almost 3 years. Recently, I had to download “another” app so I could view the recorded saved videos as my original video app was no longer supported . Now I can’t get my app to work on the phone. Think I’m ready to get a different dash cam that is actually user friendly ~ for both cam and apps.Show lessMomMacSan
Could be a lot better
The layout of the app is pretty good but like everyone else I can’t see the live view and since the most recent update I’ve been getting errors even trying to load saved footage.
