    The bite sized workouts mean it’s actually achievable!
  • Great way to start running

    The name of the app is spot on with this one. If you aren’t a runner but want to be, this app is for you. It starts easy then gradually gets harder to build your stamina. The app has audio as well to let you know when to run and when to walk. For best use, run on a track but a treadmill works too.
  • No Guilt Trips

    As someone who has struggled mentally to fix my body after a few years of neglect, I never could commit to any regimen (digital or otherwise) that would assist me. Unlike other apps, this one doesn’t guilt trip you for missing workouts. More importantly, it lets you pay what you want to keep using it! Don’t worry, there’s still plenty to try our before spending $0.99 (or more), but it’s a guilt free way to make incremental change. No phony inspirational coaches and no gimmicks. Just a clear cut, easy to understand workout regimen.

    Two (very nit picky) suggestions:
    1) Allowing users to preview workouts in advance
    2) occasionally, my music volume will remain low after the voice timer speaks

  • Easy app to use

    I wanted to take up running and this app was so easy to use and guided me through walking running phases I was running 5+kms way sooner than I thought possible! Go for it if I can you definitely can! What have you got to lose? (Ps I used free version)

    This is a great app if you need help building up your running time and distance. It slowly increases your running time each day and has helped me to actually enjoy running. It also runs in the background, so you can play music or watch something while the app warns you to run or walk. Overall very happy

  • Awesome App

    Was out of the run game due to injury for a few years. Turned to weight training in lieu of running. Finally, wanted to get back my enjoyment of running only to find that I could not run hardly at all still bc of pain and lack of aerobic conditioning. I started using this app and found it challenging but effective. I now look fwd to running and am half way thru the program but feel so motivated for what I have accomplished. I look forward to finishing the program and being able to take long Saturday runs again like I could in my military days.

  • Great!

    Never been a runner except when my sports did it as conditioning. But after college, I started sleeping terribly, being more emotional and stressed, and obviously gained weight/lost muscle. This app made running a lot less sucky because I didn’t have to keep up with how long I have been running. It just tells me what to do. And I can play my own music

  • Perfectly simple

    I really wanted a running app that built up the levels gradually, without lots of repetitive ‘encouragement’ messages. This one is great - it simply counts down the minutes, let’s you play your own music or podcast, and you don’t have to keep the screen open for it to keep going. The only thing I would suggest is allowing you to see how much is left of the whole workout, and skip on or back if necessary. Otherwise really brilliant.

  • Restoring your account is an issue

    I really enjoyed using this app, as I am still a beginner in running activities. However, when I changed my phone and installed the app on the new one, I could not click on the “restore” option to retrieve my account (which I also purchased). Instead, the app keeps offering me to pay for the purchase again... This was a truly disappointing experience as I wanted to continue with their program and advance my progress that the app mapped.

  • Best run/walk app I have found

    Have tried others in the past that did not work as well. This program increases at a right that pushes me but does not feel undoable. In the past i get discouraged by workouts being so difficult that I could barely complete them and the progression of this app has been the most manageable by far. I went from not being able to run for more Than a few minutes to being able to run for 45 minutes continuously through the use of this app, all over the course of the summer. Lost 30 pounds in the process!
