Love these
Once you get the plugs synced the rest is easy and fun. Easy to set automations, so nice to have lights come on and off and never come into a dark house. Can’t wait to try other products as I only have the plugs currently.ajfk
3rd VOCOlinc diffuser in my home
Love these diffusers! Works great in my home. I did not give it a 5 star rating for two reasons. First reason is that on all my diffusers, the top is hard to get off sometimes because of the shape log the top. The other reason is that I wish the humidifier was able to hold more water than it does, so it would longer between fill up times.Show lessMarcuswelby8
Very basic
Using HomeKit function only which is an amazing feature. My data and views are mine. The camera settings are very basic. Should have a sensitivity setting to pick up more motion or less. Instead your stuck with a “default”. Quality of the videos are a little blurry but your able to use the Face ID through HomeKit still.Show lessSplatter14821
A marvel for programming Apple Home automations
After using for a while, and seeing them working as intended, I can’t be certain the issues I was having was VOCOlinc. The app is actually a marvel. The effects you can get like flow, where it goes through all the colors, is very cool. I have Eve motion routines set up using flow scenes and various other colour scenes and brightness throughout the day. The precision I have achieved with the VOCOlinc app is glorious. The automations and scenes written in the VOCOlinc app show up in the Apple Home app and Eve app. I have a home section set up with phillips hue lights, and of course they are great, but can not replace the effects I am getting with the VOCOlinc lights. Though I opted for the full effects and options with a VOCOlinc account, there is the option to set them up in HomeKit only mode for full privacy. These lights don’t require a hub and work with Siri HomeKit, Alexa, and Google Home. The app and the lights blow away meross and wyze no comparison.Show lessgvandd
Easy set up but…
The app was easy to use, and setting up two smart bar plugs was a breeze. However, both plugs indicated the need for a firmware update. Both updates failed on two attempts. There is not any documentation to check for fixes or work arounds.JMCA908
Gets better every year.
I’ve had these plugs for several years now, through 3 house changes and use in an RV and these plugs work great. Just updated the firmware and the plugs are doing their thing. Great product.lynyrd1959
Good, but where are the widgets?!?
Does google home or something stop u from allowing widgets to turn plugs on and off??
If ever there was a use for a widget, this is it!
I also had trouble using / installing plugs with earlier iPhones that the app claimed to work with. Using a X seems to have resolved that.MrSinatra-MDW
Better than most smart home apps
Decent options for the color changing bulbs I use. Periodic firmware updates make me feel like there’s support behind the products. HomeKit compatibility makes me think there should be a long support lifetime. Wi-Fi stability is comparable to other low cost equivalents but I’m really hoping Matter and Thread will improve the whole smart home experience.Show less>∞
