Needs ability to use automations with lock enabled
The app works pretty well but for some reason you can’t turn on lock mode for the air purifier from the automations which is beyond frustrating with a toddler in my home who is attached to the unit like a moth to a flame! Please consider enabling this.MaverickCC
VOCOlinc appliances
Mainly have lights and outlets, which seem to work great with HomeKit. Would recommend it being easier to set up a scene for lights using rgb numerical values instead of color wheel. When just controlling the lights you have the option of a rgb numerical value option (red 220, blue 90, green 50) but when trying to set up a scene you have to use a color wheel hoping you get the same across lights. Revised: still firmware update issues (was: Everything broke all at once)
Okay, I see three of my devices as needing firmware updates according to Apple’s HomeKit apps. The VOCOlinc official app says all devices firmware are up to date despite one of my four devices having a higher version number than the other three. Old: And now I have four smart bar devices that won’t connect to wifi for love nor money.

Love this company and this app
I use HomeKit so tbh I use the Apple Home app mostly, but this Voco app is amazing and in some ways even better then the Home app. I have many smart home accessories but I find myself using this app, and this app alone, along with the Apple Home app. It’s the only other smart device app I use outside the Apple Home app. Love it and will continue purchasing Voco accessories. Works as advertised
I predominantly use the HomeKit app so only use this for firmware upgrades. Needed to enter “beta mode” to get all devices to upgrade, but it finally did the job.
App won’t win any UI awards but UI is clean, easy to understand, and most important, uses grammatically correct English without typos; no small feat for a non-native English-speaking company, so hats off there.Show lessavi155
Runs on M1 Mac
VOCOlinc smart plugs are our favorite, and have been solid through many iOS upgrades. Mostly use this app to upgrade firmware and/or try out beta releases. Just tried running it on M1 Mac Pro, and it works there as well! Kudos to the developers.Shwayne2
Pretty Good
Works well with home kit, only issue is after any power outage or restart, camera return to original start position, not the position that I set. If you aren’t really looking at cameras on a regular basis I find them not pointing to where I want because of unknown restartsStashudave
Too Complicated
My lights were installed and working then recently we received a message telling us the lights were off line. We are having no Internet problems. Tired resetting the lights as instructed by holding the on switch down until the lights blink but it did not work. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Nothing.
Once has access to a rainbow of colors now stuck with one unflattering color. So disappointed.Show lessluvdbygd2
Can't update smartbars without using cell data
App is useless for updating smartbar plugs. It fails every time until you make an SSID of your wireless network using your phone data and trick your smartbars into connecting. Then they update the firmware fine. Kind of a lot of drama for basic functionality. I tried their support and this was their suggestion. Can't say I'm impressed.Show lessFusionX9
Easy for this first timer
I have really enjoyed all the products because they are very easy to integrate into my HomeKit. The instructions have gotten better over time and I can make my smart devices work the way I want them to without a lot of frustration.NewAdventuresGrammy
