  • Lost photos v2

    Version two brought all my entries back in to Folio, but the photos that I took of all the cards or not there and can’t seem to load them. They just back-and-forth the kind of see like they’re trying to do something, but they’re not. If they don’t come in in the next week or so, I’m gonna get rid of the app. Update: well, they updated the app and said that the card photos would show up but they don’t so the app is worthless to me now and all of those cards that I took the time to enter into their software is gone. Do not get this product.

  • Used to be great

    This used to be a great app. Since a recent update I can’t use it. It will not load any of the card photos. Fat lot of good your license does without a photo. Or store loyalty cards I have no idea what any of them are without the photos and I’ve thrown the ohysical cards away because I depended on this app 100 percent. Now what do I do? Same with credit cards I can’t tell one from the others.

  • Love this. And great customer service.

    The app upgraded diversion two and the set up looked good, but all of my pictures turned into gray rectangles. I contacted their customer service and they told me they were working on it and it should be out on Monday the 25th. In the meantime, I foolishly had tried to reinstall, and I couldn’t get the back up to work. upgraded to version 2.02 and got the link to allow me to restore my data and now it works great.
    Customer service was responsive. And gave me good information throughout the ordeal.
    It’s a great app, and the new version is excellent and the customer service was right on top of everything.

  • Love it

    The new layout, ease of use and security makes this my new wallet. Great for traveling or when you just don’t want to carry your wallet or purse. The improvements I’d like to see would be the ability to arrange cards in my order of importance in each category. I am putting this on my wife’s phone and telling all my family and friends to get it.

  • What An Update!

    2023 - what an update! Had issues in the past (see below) but this 2.0 update is a game changer, UI looks amazing and now can access via all my apple devices without any issues! Would even say it’s worthy of paying now.
    Can set favourites and alerts for expiry and add loads of info now like ccv and pin. Love it, changed from 1 star to 5, well done developers.

    2022 - One day about 6 months or so ago the cards and id have disappeared and the cards are blank, support could not fix amd just kept saying it will be updated soon Pity as i used to use it alot but now useless 1 star.

  • All cards are empty

    Yesterday I installed the app and spent about couple hours asking IDs, bank cards, loyalty cards etc and everything looked good. Today I'm checking the app and to my surprise all my cards are empty with no data!!! Can you please explain what happened???? At this point I can't trust this app or rely on it and I need to know what happened to all the info that was entered with hours of work.....

    Next chapter: After I reentered all the scans again from the previous issue,app been working great until this latest upgrade to 2.0 from yesterday. I opened folio and to my surprise all the scan images are gone. This is super frustrating!!! This is a great app but too bad not much QA is being done. I'm waiting to hear from support whether I'll need to rescan everything again or they have a way of recover the data.

    Piece of crap! Bad development and bad QA. Don't waste your time unless you're willing to re-enter all your data every time they upgrade version!! What a waste of time

  • Good concept but Slow

    The app has a lot great features but is very slow in opening an retrieving data. I found it best to use for infrequently used item and items that can not be entered in the Apple Wallet (e.g. passports, photo, documents). Other than data access speed, other improvements I would like to see are editable categories and the ability to use on multiple devices. Adding items is very flexible and user friendly. The developer is clearly very knowledgeable and talented. Folio is a good adjunct to the Apple Wallet.

    Many improvements in latest update, faster more editable.

    Unable to log in after prompt. All data is still available. iOS 17.2

  • Love the app -

    I do miss the look of the wallet- but will get used to the new update - if it does like it says and carries over to all devices, it’s near perfect. Would be nice to sort the category by name of bank or card to help locate things faster. All in all- best app in store
  • Never Works

    With the amount of people stated using and reviewed I thought I’d give it a try. However, every time I log into the app itself it always tells me I have internet issues “retry” so can’t use it. I can’t find even report the issue to the developer as it has an “oops” message! Go figure, not sure about others but useless for me but appeared to look good.

  • Excellent Wallet app with terrible and inaccurate documentation

    Folio Wallet is the best iPhone Wallet app I've found for storing a wide range of identification cards. Apple Wallet is great for bank credit and debit cards, but Folio Wallet so let's me store health insurance, library, museum, and virtually any other kind of ID or membership cards. It's a beautiful app and easy to use.

    The app is very secure and goes to extreme lengths to protect your personal information. This is ordinarily a very good thing. However it also makes it extremely difficult to export or transfer your card information when migrating your account to a new phone. The app itself provides no information whatsoever about backing up or restoring your account and card information, and the Folio Wallet website provides outdated and inaccurate instructions. I spent several weeks with the Support team figuring it out and only after extraordinary effort was able to restore my account to my new phone.
